Once upon a time: Ever After High in Wonderland (Book 2)

Ch.4 Storybrooke Asylum

What most people don't know, is that underneath the hospital, is the Storybrooke Asylum. Not many people know about it because there's barely any patients there. But one patient is considered the maddest, and he walked down the hall with his hands handcuffed behind him and was being escorted by 2 asylum workers. He was taken to an office where he was uncuffed and saw in the chair across the desk with a doctor and 2 other men on the other side.

"Welcome Brenden" the doctor said.

Brenden avoided eye contact by looking down and had a depressed look on his face.

"All right then" the doctor said as he looked at some paper "Now it says here that you've told everyone about a made up world that your mother created called Wonderland, a world filled with imagination. A place with talking animals, a hookah smoking caterpillar, a card queen, treats and drinks that can change your size, and other odd things which you can find by falling down a rabbit hole".

Brenden stayed quiet.

"Now this sounds all too unrealistic, wouldn't you agree?"

But Brenden didn't answer.

"Come on speak" the doctor ordered.

"Yeah" Brenden mumbled.

"And it says that in this Wonderland, you and some of your Wonderland friends would go on exciting adventures together, now do you still believe in that?"

Brenden remained silent as he began to have memories about his adventures in Wonderland.

Alistair Wonderland, the son of Alice ran into the bush maze with the sound of the queen's card guards behind him.

"He's in the bush maze!" a guard yelled.

"No one trespasses on my land!" the Queen of Hearts yelled from outside.

Alistair was used to these stuff happening to him, especially since he would be the next Alice to go on wonderful adventures in Wonderland. But then, when he turned around a corner, there were some card guards in front of him.

"There he is!" a guard pointed at him "Get him!"

Alistair turned around and ran.

"Brenden" the doctor called "Brenden, Brenden!"

Brenden snapped out of his memories.

"Answer the question" the doctor said "Do you still believe that you went to Wonderland?"

Brenden didn't know how to answer, so he decided to go with the best answer that might help him get out of the asylum.

"No" he mumbled.

"No?" the doctor asked "So you just made it all up?"

Brenden gave a quiet sigh "Yeah".

"Ok then, what for? Attention? Cause it certainly worked".

Brenden stayed quiet.

"So you wanna confess that all of this Wonderland nonsense was just a figment of your imagination? Is that right?"

Alistair ran from the guards and through the maze, but he turned around a corner, he reached a dead end. He tried to look for a way to escape, but he was blocked by the hedge. He could hear the guards getting closer, but just when he thought he was out of luck, a floating grin appeared next to him, and then the full body of Kitty Cheshire appeared.
