Ch.32 Choose

The girls stood there with shock at what Maddie just said.

"What do you mean you were each others first kiss?!" Bunny asked.

"I mean we were each others first kiss" Maddie said.

"When did you guys kiss?" Kitty asked surprised.

"It happened during Alistair's 15th birthday party".

"How did it happen?" Lizzie asked.

Maddie gave a sigh as she told them what happened.

(Flashback) Alistair walked onto the balcony while wiping the cake off him with a towel as he thought about being humiliated in front of everyone by Courtly. 

"Hey Alistair" Maddie entered as she wiped the cake off her with a towel "I'm sorry about what happened".

"It's fine I guess" he sighed.

"So are you feeling ok?"

"Not really?" he confessed.

"Ok look, I know you were really embarrassed, we all were, but we could still have a good time".

"I don't know Maddie" he sighed.

"Oh come on, where's that smile" she urged with a smile.

But Alistair kept his frown.

"Apparently that smile is not here right now" Maddie said.

"That Jester ruins everything" Alistair frowned "Why did you guys even invited her?"

"Well..." Maddie said nervously "I was actually kinda my idea".

"Your idea?"

"I wanted her to do some funny entertainment cause she's a joker, plus I didn't want her to feel left out".

"Well she certainly gave everyone the entertainment" he said with sarcasm.

"Ok look I'm sorry I invited her, I promise she wont come to your other parties, or any other parties. But hey, look on the bright side, you still get to open your presents, and I'll make sure Courtly didn't do anything to them".

"Well that's good I guess".

"Great" she smiled "Oh you still got some frosting on your face".

She wiped the frosting off with her finger and tasted it.

"Mm, buttercream" she smiled.

"Hey you got some on your face too" Alistair said as he wiped the frosting off her face with his finger and tasted it "That it some good frosting".

Maddie gave a giggle.

"You know let me just wipe the rest of the cake off you" she offered as she started to wipe the cake off with the towel.

"Thanks" he smiled.

But as she wiped the cake off, they then looked into each others eyes and felt a slight spark between them. They then felt themselves leaning into each other as they stared at each others lips. And soon their lips met as they felt the spark increased. But they then realized what they were doing and pulled away with their eyes widen.

"Whoa!" they gasped.

"That was... something" Alistair said awkwardly.

"Yeah..." Maddie said awkwardly.

"Um, that was my first kiss actually".

"No way me too" Maddie smiled.

"Cool".
