Ch.8 The Hat

After a few minutes of waiting, Lauren's dad Mr. Cooper, or the Hatter entered the diner with a black top hat.

"Dad" Lauren said "Thanks for bringing the hat, and looks who's here".

She showed him Christina.

"Remember Bunny?" she said.

"Bunny Blanc?" he said surprised as she nodded "It's good to see you again!"

"You too Mr. Hatter" Christina smiled.

"So why do you girls need the hat?" he asked.

The girls explained about Courtly taking Alistair to Wonderland.

"We think he could be in danger" Ilene said "So we need the hat to get to Wonderland so we can find him".

"Well girls" Mr. Cooper said with a nervous look "I haven't used this hat in a long time, I'm even sure if it works".

"Well we gotta try" Lauren said.

"Well if we're gonna try it we better do it somewhere with more space".

"Then let's do it outside" Amanda suggested.

So the girls and Mr. Cooper went outside to an empty road.

"So how does the hat work?" Elena asked.

"Well first we put it on the ground upside down" Mr. Cooper said as he placed the hat on the road upside down "Now stand back".

The girls stood back as he spun the hat, and soon a spinning purple tunnel appeared with the hat.

"It works!" Lauren gasped.

"Now all we have to do is jump in" Ilene said.

"Are you girls sure about this?" Mr. Cooper asked.

"It's the only way we can get Alistair back" Christina said.

The Wonderland girls then stood around the hole, knowing that once they jump down the hole, they'll be going back to Wonderland.

"All right girls" Ilene said nervously "You ready?"

They nodded as they held hands together.

"Good luck" Brooke said.

"Ok" Ilene said "One".

"Two" Amanda followed.

"Three!" they all said as they jumped down the hole and down they went.

The hole then closed up and the hat was gone.

"So do you remember anything when you were in the asylum?" Darling asked Alistair as they rode on the horse across Wonderland.

"Well, from what I know, I think the Evil Queen's has been lifted" he said.

"Really?" she gasped.

"Yeah, but I don't think anyone can leave Storybrooke still".

"Oh. Well can people enter Storybrooke?"

"I think they can, but only fairytale characters, and I think that once you enter Storybrooke, you can't get out".

Darling gave a sad sigh "Then I don't know if I'll ever see my brothers again".

Alistair saw the sad look in her eyes.

"Hey" he said "I know how you feel, I haven't seen my Wonderland friends since the curse, and now, I don't know if I'll ever see them again".

"Well all we have to do is find a way to get back to Storybrooke".

"Now that's gonna be hard, the only person I know who could help us is Kate, but since we got separated and Wonderland is a big place, it's almost impossible to find her".

"Alistair, don't you remember? This is Wonderland, nothing's impossible".

Alistair gave a small smile, Darling was right, nothing's impossible in Wonderland.

"We'll find a way to get to Storybrooke" she said "And we'll find your friends and your mother".

"And I'll make sure you'll see your brothers again" he said.

Darling gave a small smile as they rode off.

Down the rabbit hole the girls went, moving out of the way for incoming objects.

"Was this how the rabbit hole was like the last we down?!" Ilene asked.

"I don't remember!" Amanda said as they continued to fall.

But as they went down, they saw that their clothes were changing. Lauren's hair was pulled out of her ponytail and different strands of her brown hair turned to white, turquoise, and purple as a purple tea cup hat was placed on her head. Ilene looked down and saw her boots changing to red heels and her skinny jeans changing to black tights with red hearts as her black and red streaked hair was restyled and a golden crown was placed on her head. Amanda's blonde hair turned to a lavender color and was pulled into 2 pigtails as she saw faux fur appearing on her shirt color as her shirt started to change. Christina watched as her shirt transformed into a mint green dress with clock patterns as a grey vest appeared over the dress. The girls outfits continued to change as they fell down the rabbit hole. And after a few more seconds of falling, they fell out of the hole and onto a grassy field. They got up and brushed the grass off their new clothes.

"Hey" Lauren gasped "We're back to our old selves again!"

The girls looked and saw that they were back to their old selves when they were at Ever After.

"I miss this crown" Ilene smiled as she touched her crown.

"I remember this outfit" Amanda looked at her clothes.

She then touched her nose and found that her nose stud was gone.

"And my nose stud is gone" she said.

"I got my ears back" Christina looked at her rabbit ears.

"My hairs are multiple colors again" Lauren looked at her hair of 3 colors.

"It feels so good to be back to our normal selves again" Ilene smiled.

"Whoa" Amanda gasped as she noticed where they were "Are we where I think we are?"

The girls looked where they were and gasped.

"We're in Wonderland" Christina gasped.

"We're back home" Lauren gasped.

The girls couldn't believe it, after being trapped in Storybrooke for so long, they're finally back home.

"Is this a dream?" Ilene asked with a surprised look "I'm dreaming, someone pinch me".

At that point Amanda pinched Ilene's arm.

"Ow!" Ilene yelled as she grabbed her arm "Ok, I'm not dreaming, this is real, we're home!"

"This is amazing!" Amanda exclaimed "Wait a minute, now that we're in Wonderland, I can finally see my mom!"

"I can see my mom too!" Ilene gasped.

"Well I can see my dad!" Christina gasped.

"Hold on" Lauren said "Now that we're in Wonderland, we gotta start looking for Alistair".

"Um, where do we start?" Amanda asked.

"Uh, does anyone know where to go?" Christina asked "Or at least remember?"

"Oh man" Ilene said with disappointment "I don't remember".

"Well if you don't know where to go" Amanda said "Any road will take you there".

"But which way do we start to look for Alistair?" Christina asked.

The girls stood there as they thought about where to start.
