THIRTY ONE

It's been like... A month? And really, everything went back to normal. Well, I guess not really. Because Aaron with his group is actually trying to be with us always, since the other group is already ignoring us, too. So, I can say that in the middle of trying to push everyone away, we still got a little close with Aaron's group. It's because they are persistent!

And of course, I am or maybe, we, are trying to manage to not care about Andrew and his friends, ignoring us. It helps us, anyway. But I'm still a little bothered. But that won't make me talk to them again. Now that everything is going well? No!

The bell rang and I immediately stood up but nobody tried to stop me, nor them. That's how it goes, anyway. Nothing's new. However, it still haunts me. Like something is missing? 

Tahimik kaming naglakad palabas ng room. We've been eating at the Mini House for so long. Doon din kami pumupunta tuwing vacant. Just to ignore everyone.

Ngunit nasa quadrangle na kami at patungo na sa Mini House nang may humigit sa blouse na'min.

"Ate," Wika ng bata. Napangiti ako at pinantayan siya. He's so cute! I think they were from another department but this school is huge for them to wander here.

"Bakit? Asan ang sundo mo?" Tanong ko sa bata ngunit hindi ako sinagot nito at patuloy lang sa paghigit ng damit ko. Napatingin ako kina Harley na ngayon ay sinusundan na ang mga bata kaya ngumiti na pamang ako at hinawakan ang kamay ng bata.

Marami rin ang nagtatakbuhan at pumupunta sa gawi na'min. Okay, what's going on?

"Upo ka po," Tanging sabi ng batang lalaki nang marating na'min ang dulo ng mga nakakalat na rosas, sa garden. Sinunod ko ang sinabi ng bata, nilagyan ako nito ng flower crown. He's wearing their uniform, at bagay ito sa kanya, sa kanila. The baby boy cupped my cheeks which made me laugh.

"You are so adorable," Natatawang sambit ko.

"You look pretty whenever you smile," Aniya na mas lalong ikinatawa ko. He smiled sheepishly and his cheeks are blushing. Oh, boy!

"What's going on here?" Tanong ko ng hindi nabubura ang ngiti sa labi. Ngunit umatras ang bata at umiling-iling.

"Just follow the petals, bye!" Sambit niya at tumakbo palayo na ikinatakot ko naman. Baka madapa 'yong bata! Ngunit nabura na sila sa aming paningin at nagkatinginan na lamang kaming apat.

"Let's just follow it," Utas ko at nagkibit balikat. We took a step at biglang may tunog ng keyboard kaming narinig. Kumunot ang noo na'min at natawa naman ako. Nagpatuloy kami sa paglakad nang may kumanta na rin.

"It's her hair and her eyes today that just simply take me away

The voice is so familiar! Hindi ko lang matanto kung kanino. Ngunit madalas kaming magtinginang apat.

"Is this some kind of trap? Bigla na lang bang lalabas ang tunay na tayo sa screen?" I asked them. Oh, man, what am I thinking?

"That's a horrible thought!" Flynn remarked. Kung wala kami sa ganitong pwesto ay baka tumawa na ako. But there's a big chance na gawin 'yon sa'min! You know? 'Yung sa mga movies, the cliché one! It's going to start romantically but would end up in horror!
