THIRTY SIX

Trix requested to celebrate her birthday at Haunted Kitchen, the restaurant near our school. Hindi ko nga alam kung siya ang mag-eenjoy o ako dahil hilig ko ang ganito. I like creepy things for unknown reason. Maybe because... I only find my own comfort with them. Tutal 'yon rin naman ang tingin ng lahat sa'kin, so be it.

I like horror, they weren't really scary. They are actually fun. Those were just stupid fictions that tries to give people fears. Ako? Nagustuhan ko ang horror dahil halos karamihan ay takot doon. Because when I was still a little kid, I believed that using ghost or scary things would keep other children away from me. So, that they won't be able to make me cry.

Bago kumain ay kinantahan muna na'min si 'Patricia'. Hindi ako sigurado kung masaya ba siya o malungkot. Perhaps both, she's happy to celebrate a simple birthday like this, surrounded by everyone who's important for her, and most special, no medias. However, she's sad, because she's not really Patricia. That this thing would just deceive her, us. That in a snap, we would wake up from a very wonderful dream.

"You should eat a lot," Wika ni Nite at nilagyan ng pagkain ang plato ni Trix.

"She's not disabled," Andrew remarked. Ngumiti si Nite at tumango.

"Princesses weren't disabled," Utas ni Nite. Trix slightly chuckled.

"I'm no princess," Aniya at umiling-iling.

"Yes, but you should be treated like." Muling sagot ni Nite at ngumiti. Andrew clenched his jaws. Tumikhim si Belle.

"Dapat ay magsaya tayo ngayon," Komento niya nang mapansin ang tensyon sa dalawa. It's always like this. At mukhang hindi na talaga ito mababago.

We requested some of their waiters to took some photos of us a remembrance, and I must say, it's really funny and adorable. There are a lot of scary things that surrounds us in the photo, which looked like we're in a freaking horror movie. In addition to our ugly and fake faces. If ever I have this kind of face, would I still get bullied? Of course, the first day in our own school sucks. It so reminds me of my past and I thought, I wouldn't really get over with it.

This world is a sucker.

Pagkatapos na'min kumain sa restaurant ay naisipan nilang pumunta sa isang 'fair' na kanilang tinatawag. Namataan na'min doon ang maraming rides at iba't ibang kainan.

I never went to a place like this. That's why I was astonished to see this. I mean, we've ride ferris wheel before. But it was on a decent place. But this place are so noisy, but it didn't made me feel uneasy. Because the noise came from the people who were having fun.

"This place is good, right?" Tanong ni Kent. Tumango ako bilang sagot.

"Come on, Ate Patricia! Loosen up! Let's make noise tonight," Sambit ni Phoebe at hinila si Trix. Wala na kaming nagawa kundi sumunod. Sunakay kami sa mga rides kung saan puno ng tilian.

"You should loosen up, too." Bulong sa'kin ni Alex at nginitian ako. "Let's shout like there's no tomorrow," Anyaya niya. Sumakay na kami sa ride ngunit hindi ako sumisigaw. It wasn't my thing. Pumipikit lamang ako at napapahawak sa aking dibdib. I never thought this would give such feeling. Tinapik ako ni Alex at nagsisigaw siya.
