Background Story: Zoë was born in Ancient Greece at the beginning of the Golden Age of Athens. Her father was a mortal navigator who was the son of Plato who fell in love with Circe after meeting her on her island. Zoë grew up on the island after her father was lost at sea, or presumably killed by Scylla. She was taught by her mother of the many animals in the animal kingdom. Circe had enrolled her to Peregrine Academy where she now teaches. There, she studied magic and witchcraft. has a vast collection of magic potions to turn people into animals, spell books, a staff-like wooden wand and a cauldron (given to her by her mother).
