Background Story: Adeline was born in Westport, County Mayo, Ireland. She was the daughter of the magistrate who suffered a stroke while writing a letter to his former lover, Elizabeth Blackwell. Adeline screamed in horror when she saw his body. After seeing death for the first time in her life, she grew attached to it. She became a secret serial killer, luring young men to her home only to mutilate them. The town policeman had grown suspicious of her homicidal tendancies that they interrogated her in her home as calm and casually as they could. While Adeline was pulling a ruse with the policemen, one of them spiked her drink with poison. She consumed the poisoned beverage and coughed up blood before dying. The policemen buried her body underneath her house. Her soul lives on as a banshee.
