Background Story: Hannah was born in the city of Chicago. After the Black Prom Massacre at Ewan High School and murdering her abusive, mentally ill, religious mother, Margaret, Carrie moved away from her hometown and migrated to Chicago. There, she was raped by a perverted man and was eventually arrested afterwards, leaving her pregnant with child. When she gave birth to the child, all of the lights in the hospital went out, indicating that Hannah was born with the same psychic abilities as her mother. Carrie raised her in her apartment and became a little overprotective of her.
