Background Story: Courtney was born in Massachusetts during the Salem witch trials. Her mother, seduced a Puritan while in her younger form. She then absorbed his life source, killing instantly. She gave birth to Courtney nine months later and raised her in her cabin with her two sisters. But when their hideout was discovered by the townspeople after a young boy named Thackery tried to save his sister, Courtney cast an immortality spell on herself as her mother and aunts get hanged by the neck and vowed she would bring them back somehow. In modern times, she tricks a young teenager to light a black candle which brings the Sandersons back to life. Courtney convinced them to live in solace from the humans.
