Background Story: Ed was born in the abandoned Camp Crystal Lake in New Jersey where his father, Jason, went to when he was a child before he drowned in the lake. His mother, Pamela, was angry as the counselor's negligence that she murdered them all. Jason fell in love with one of the teenagers who came to the camp to spend the night, Lisa, after murdering many of her friends. In his childhood, Ed hit his head hard on a rock and suffered a traumatic brain injury that left him with dyslexia and a limited vocabulary where he's only able to say "I am Ed". When he says that, he not only introduces himself, but rather tries to say something else, even though he can't.
