Chapter 23: The Dream.

Niall's POV.

Hazel smiled at me and closed her eyes.

I saw her fall asleep on the screen.

Not to be a weirdo or anything, but she looks really cute when she sleeps.

I yawned. I closed my eyes.

I'm not gonna fall asleep... *yawn* I'm just resting my eyes till she wakes...

I fell asleep...

Hazel's POV.

*Dream*

I was running.

From who?

All I know is that I'm scared...

What happened?

My feet hit the pavement hard, down a street that I didn't really recognize that well...

It was raining, stormy, cold, dark and Im still in shorts and a shirt...

And bare feet...

Great.

But who am I running from?

I looked behind me...

Jason?!

I stopped and watched him.

He's running towards me...

With.... A gun?

Why does he-?

Jason looked angry...

Just like the night he murdered my father...

Oh shit.

I took off running.

"Hazel! Come back! NOW!" He screamed at me.

That made me run faster...

"HAZEL! STOP!" he shouted angrily

again.

I turned my head as I ran and saw that he was only about 10 meters behind me. He's getting closer...

"AHHH! SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!" I screamed as I turned a corner and into an alley.

I ran smack into someone.

I fell down hard, tears streaming down my face...

"Help! Help me..." I trailed off.

"Hazel..." Somebody said in a low growl.

Huh..?

I looked up to see Jason standing there holding a knife.

Where's the gun? Not that I'm complaining!

"J-Jason... Please don't hurt me..." I cried.

"You're not the one I want to hurt..." He trailed off.

He walked into the shadows, to pull out a screaming girl.

I could see and hear him cover her mouth, because her screams became muffled and blocked.

He came out of the shadows and into the moon light.

The girl was Kat...

"Let her go!" I screamed and stood up.

"Uh, uh, uh..." He said, shaking his finger at me and smiling like a mad man.

Kat tried to reach for me, but couldn't.
