Story time!

Stormy as it was these days. Middle of winter. You decided to walk around when you found yourself being somewhere lost in the foggy cottages.
Too windy to dare peeking at the landscape.
Plus it was getting late.
So it was grey.
You could see only lights from the windows.
You tried to cover your face with your hands. Using your purple and yellow scarf you covered your face. Up to your nose.
The wind was so heavy that it made you blown somewhere away.
Damn.
'Terrible weather...why did I only want to go out...' You thought to yourself with hate growing in you.
You hugged your stomach to find yourself somehow...
You stood there leaning on the fence of a random cottage.

Suddenly.
You heard a noise from the garbage.
You looked to your side.
"Meow.."
Your eyes widened as your heard a cat sound coming from it.
You went to the garbage.
It wasn't that windy in here.
You could see the garbage boxes and then you could be able to look at the place the sound came from.
You looked at the cat-kitten!
It was all cold,dirty and hungry. I guess.
You decided to take the kitten.
Cuddling it.
You sat on the ground using a cardboard and lean on the wall cuddling with the kitten.
You used the scarf to make him feel warm.
You touched his dirty fur.
But he purred.
You visited a local cafe by the way.
And had a small piece of a leftover food -anything that cats can eat thought- that you wanted to give to your sister.

Ah. Well.
It enjoyed eating the food. At least..something that he got in his life..

You cuddled with it as it fell asleep.
You heard the ambient of the loud storm...the strong wind...the heaviness of snow falling softly on the ground.
You fell asleep listening to the song of Winter..

You woke up from a push on your shoulder.
You open your eyes seeing someones legs.
Your hands cuddling the kitten.
You looked up with heaviness and saw a familiar face.
It was Ichimatsu.
"Wake up,___." He said.
He was wearing a warm winter uniform and a scarf.
You tried to move your body. But soon understood that your limbs got frozen.
Your being pale and the lips being blue.
The kitten was covered by the scarf so he haven't seen it yet.
You open your mouth tried to say something.

It was dark perhaps.
And there was a small light coming from a random street lantern.
He kneel to you facing you.
Then looking down at your hands.
"Why didn't you use your scarf." He said in a monotone voice.
As he only touched the cold arms of yours and tried to take the scarf.
"I..Ichimatsu. Don't touch it.. It's sleeping." You said silently as your voice break.
His eyes widened and then looked at the ball.
He peeked under the scarf and saw it.
You saw him having a small grin.

"You are a hero.." He said looking away a bit.
You chuckled a bit.
He then took off his scarf.
And put it on you.
Wrapping it around your neck and closing your mouth and nose.
You looked at him as your eyes were shinning.
"Sometimes a hero needs a personal hero.." You said chuckling.
He looked at you as he blushed. 0.1% he did.
"I'll take you home..." He said quietly.
"Wh-"
He wrapped one arms behind your shoulders of back. Whatever... Not in the mood to be positively emotional.
And the legs. Where the knees were. You know.
He then picked you up.
Easy.
He walked to your house.
"Ichimatsu..that's alright..." You said.
"Holds the kitten tightly." He said.

He took you home.
Totoko opened the door.
"____,nee-san! Where have you been I was so worried." She said as Ichimatsu entered.
It got really warm instantly.
"I got lost..." You replied.
Totoko looked at you with a worried face.
"I'll make you some tea and something hot to eat!" She said with a relief of the fact that you came home and was safe.
"Your room?" Asked Ichimatsu.
You nod.
He took you upstairs.

He put you down on the bed.
Of course,removing the jacket and boots off you. And hat. Optional...
You put the kitten away as it was in a deep sleep.
Ichimatsu took your folded blanket and covered you.
"Thank you.." You said.
As you feel the warmth coming to you.
'No need to.' He thought while looking at you.

Totoko made you some tea and food to eat. Of course. She took the kitten while you were sick.
You sneeze and had a flu. High temperature...
Ichimatsu didn't leave your room as you were sick.
"Ichimatsu, don't get close..you will be sick too." You said.
He took the tea and held it for you so that you could drink.
You took it.
"I don't care." He said.
Then he took his mask and wear it on his face.
You put the tea on the table as you finished.
He then took the food and shove gently the spoon to you.
"Ic-"
"Eat it while its hot." He said.
So you just listened to him.

You finished.
Well.
You watched also TV.
He approcahed you sitting closer than he did... He hugged you and rubbed his head against yours gently.
Yes,just like cats do.
He touched your forehead.
"You are too hot." He looked at you closely.
You chuckled nervously.
"I feel like I'm freezing.." You replied.

He was still glaring at you.

I'm writing it with real tears...

He cupped your cheek and he kissed you on the lips gently.
Well.. It was a kiss through the mask.
But it made you feel warmer than before.
Then he rest his head on your head.
You were a bit confused.
Blinked a bit...
And then realised...
He had a feeling. Special feeling. Only to you.
And cats.
You put your hands on his chest as he hugged you tighter.
You cuddled.
'I love you.' He thought. "___."
"Yes?" You replied.
"Promise me you will guarantee love towards the kitten..." He said.
"Of course I will." You said.
He lean closer to your ear.
"...and me too."
.........
"Promise."

And of course.
You gave the kitten a good life.
And of course you gave Ichimatsu love like nobody else did.
