Tyler Oakley is an average sophomore at Lock Bridge high school, he seems just fine to the people on the outside. But he is not all that meets the eye. Just because someone's life seems perfect does not mean that it is. Juggling an eating disorder and body image issues while living a life in high school is not easy. But Tyler was good at flying under the radar, no one noticed him and he was perfectly okay with that.
It was a typical Tuesday at the begging of the school year and Tyler was getting adjusted to his schedule of not sitting at home in the dark on tumblr each and every day. He had a few friends at his school. Hannah Hart was sweet and always made sure Ty was okay, even though he wasn't in anyway, it was nice how she showed an interest. He was also friends with Grace and Mamrie but they were very loud and social, and Tyler, well he wasn't. Hannah usually forced him to go along with her to sports games, school events, and lunch.
Ugh lunch literally the worst part of the whole day. Tyler despised lunch period. All the lukewarm calories sitting in vats just waiting to be swallowed and infecting his already sickeningly gross figure. Food every teens favorite thing right? wrong. Any mention of food created a panic in Tyler's chest.
But he never let on, and no one ever knew the way he felt as the heavy food slid down his throat and plopped into his stomach. He picked here and there at his pizza, observing as his "friends" talked wildly around him whilst eating the meal of the day. Tyler could feel the weight, the heavy pressing weigh, of the pizza in his stomach. He mumbled some excuse to his friends and walked out of the cafeteria to the bathroom on the other side of the school.
Tyler launched into the middle of the three stalls and shoved his fingers down causing his stomach to churn. He gaged a few times before emptying the contents of his stomach into the toilet in front of him. He didn't cry or get emotional, he simply sat kneeling in front of the bowl the usual feeling of numbness taking over as he shifted into a sitting position on the floor. He was content in the silence alone, yet another day in his new schedule.
Always in the far away bathroom, in the middle stall. Numbly waiting for something, anything, to help him out of his rut. Suddenly Tyler heard the sound of shuffling coming from the handicap stall a door over. He stiffened, who was there and for how long, he began to worry about his previous actions.
Who was in that stall, and what did they know.

Troye Mellet was a freshman at a new high school, he was previously kicked out of his last high school and it was only October. Yeah he worked fast. It was his first day and he walked down the unfamiliar halls hopping that no one would look at or speak to him. Troye was not bad at school, he was certainly not good by any means, but he was not bad at it either. He didn't really mind the academic classes too much. He was forced into a drama class because he was late in registering for classes. One of the many downfalls of coming to a new school a month after it stated
Another downfall, he had no friends, not that he wanted them, in reality that was opposite of what he wanted. He hated people, and no, don't take that the wrong way, he just didn't like spending time with other people. He sat in the back in each of his classes and he spent all of his free time scribbling poems on scraps of paper. The final bell sounded for the first half of the day which released him to the most wonderful part of every school day, lunch.
He walked straight out of his classroom and opened his locker. He shoved his backpack inside and grabbed his folded old sweatshirt and hard cover notebook, and of course his phone. He walked in the opposite direction of all he crowds of people headed to the cafeteria, there was no way he was headed there. He walked into the bathroom and quickly filed to the handicap stall. He went to the the corner of the stall opposite to the toilet but also away from the door and he placed the sweatshirt on the ground and sat on top of it.
He opened the journal and began to write more poems and scribbled doodles in the page corners passing the time. In his old school he would hide out behind the stage in the gym and wait for lunch to be over. He hadn't attended a normal school since 6th grade, but why would he, he's not normal. He's broken, useless, meaningless, sad. He tried to shake the thoughts but once they started there's no way to stop them, well there is one way but he doesn't do that in school less its a dire situation.
Suddenly someone burst through the door. He jumped slightly at the sudden noise and froze as he hear someone gaging in the once quiet bathroom. Soon the gaging turned into the sound of someone being sick. He didn't know what to do so he began to gather his notebook and sweatshirt as the noise stopped. He walked out of the bathroom and switched his sweatshirt and notebook for his backpack before heading off to his next class. He began to think about what he had overheard.
Who was in that stall, and what were they doing.

Hello
I'm not sure how many people actually read authors notes but hey whatever its all good. So this is the introduction to the story and I'm actually kinda excited for it. As you can tell some of the material could be triggering and I just wanted to say and I am by no means an expert on these topics I just use creative writing as an outlet. I also wanted to state the fact that this is a fanfiction so none of this is real (I know 'duh' but I just wanted to make it extra clear).
I am going to try to upload on a schedule but usually the updates are just random (and often). I my hope is to for sure upload at least once a week :)
Anyway hope you have a good day/night/evening or whatever. Good luck with your life
Katie :)
