Stand By You (Troyler AU)

Babysitting

-Time ship Friday night-

Allexys skipped down the hall of third floor towards Tyler's room. She knocked lightly on the door before walking in the room and looking over at Tyler and Troye curled up on the couch. The boys snapped their heads up at the sudden movement from the door and Tyler gasped "OH MY GOD ALLEXYS you gave me a heart attack! What do you want!" Tyler snapped and Troye glared at him giving Tyler the 'don't yell at her like that' look

"Jessica is having her baby and Mom wants you two flops to watch the kids while her, Dad, Codi, and Travis go to hospital" Allexys chirped as she skipped back out of the room.Tyler groaned and moved to get of the couch and Troye let out a huff "hey, pillow, get back here" Troye said with a smile pulling Tyler back down on the couch. Tyler laughed as Troye rested his head on Tyler's chest again and Tyler ran his finger's though Troye's curls "Come on we have brats to watch" Tyler said bumping his shoulder to encourage Troye to move. Troye sat up "They are not brats, I like them" Troye laughed and they headed down the stairs together.

Jackie was moving swiftly around the living room gathering random items that she would need. She placed Macy on the blanket on the ground and placed random toys in front of him before walking away, she picked up bags off the ground and slung them over her shoulder "Okay boys I really need you to do this for me, Jessica's already at the hospital with Dad so I'm meeting them there. Tyler I am taking your car, the van is here with all the car seats IF and ONLY IF you NEED to go somewhere. There is lasagna in the refrigerator all you have to do is put it in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes" Jackie instructed Tyler and Troye as they stood in the living room. "No losing kids this time...right Ty?" Jackie continued with a pointed stare

"I didn't lose him, I just temporally lost sight of his body" Tyler rebuked with sass evident in his voice and Troye had to stifle a laugh and Jackie looked at Troye with a smile "Yes Troye, he LOST one of my children, help him" she laughed and Troye nodded his head in agreement and she moved out the door

"Just so I am sure, who's here exactly" Troye said, he wanted to make sure that Jackie continued to like Troye, and losing one of her children would not put Troye on Jackie's good side. "Maddox and Corbyn are napping in their room, Penelope, Allexys and Connor are down stairs in the basement. The twins Sadie and Michael are right there and so is Macy, and everyone else is coming with me" Jackie said with a smile "Bye boys, good luck call if you need me" Jackie finished as she closed to door behind her

Troye turned and faced Tyler with a smirk while he raised an eyebrow "You lost a sibling" Troye said laughing and Tyler shook is head "Shut up" he said with a smile

Tyler smiled as he watched Troye sitting criss cross on the floor of the living room surrounded by Maddox and Corbyn while he had Macy propped up in his lap. Maddox waddled back towards Troye with his hand extended holding out a plastic cup for Troye. Troye smiled at him and took the cup placing it next to his knee. Soon Tyler's 5 year old twin step siblings were also gathered around Troye and Tyler observed as Troye interacted sweetly with each of them. Tyler moved to sit on the couch as his middle aged siblings came clamoring up the stairs from the basement.

"I'm hungry" Connor said throwing himself on the couch as he sprawled out and grabbed for the television remote. Troye looked up from the group of kids surrounding him and Tyler smiled, his family loved Troye just a much as Tyler did. Tyler got up off the couch yet again, he suddenly became grateful for everything Jackie did everyday. Tyler and Troye had been watching the kids for 4 hours and they were both drained, and his mom did this all day everyday. Tyler pushed the food into the oven and called everyone into the kitchen to eat.

After all the kids ate dinner Troye wiped down the counter as Tyler turned on the TV so the younger kids could settled down. Tyler walked back into the kitchen and looked at Troye who was sitting down at the counter. Tyler walked over and started putting the glasses in the tray away into the cabinet. "Tyler" Troye called and Tyler closed his eyes knowing exactly what was coming. "I don't want to" Tyler said firmly not turning around as he continued to put the dishes away

"Come on Ty" Troye said from the counter waiting for Tyler to turn around. Tyler let out a short huff as he turned around and sat on the stool across from Troye giving in easily to what the other boy wanted. The boys picked up a light conversation as they pressed their forks into a piece of Jackie's lasagna. Troye took a second bite as one of the kids called from the living room. Tyler went to stand up to Troye placed his hand on Tyler's shoulder.

"I'll go you stay and eat" Troye said with a smile as he got up to leave the living room. Tyler scrolled though his phone, ignoring the piece of pasta and sauce slop that he and Troye were sharing. Tyler dropped his phone onto the counter and picked up the plate, he looked down at the food sighing softly. Tyler took one more look, trying to push away his usual habits but he couldn't. He dropped the paper plate into the bin and went back to his spot on the stool.

Tyler waited a reasonable amount of time before he walked out into the living room, he looked at the clock that read 7:30. He was overjoyed that he and Troye survived babysitting until bedtime.

Tyler quietly moved across the room and picked up Corbyn and Macy and carried them up to their bedroom placing them in their cribs softly before switching the light off and walking back down the stairs. Tyler moved to pick up Sadie and let out a groan in the effort it was talking to lift her off the ground. Troye laughed before he moved to swiftly pick up Sadie and bringing to her bedroom, quickly doing the same too Michael and Maddox. Tyler waited at the bottom of the stairs as Troye slipped out of Maddox's room. "Thank you" Tyler whispered and Troye wrapped his arm over Tyler's shoulder as they moved to sit on the couch. Tyler and Troye watched TV with the remaining older kids for a while before shuffling Penelope and Allexys off to bed, leaving Connor alone in the dark living room as the two boys headed to bed.

Troye plopped down on the Tyler's bed and scooted next to the wall "I'm exhausted" Troye said a he propped himself up on his elbow to lean on his side. Tyler plopped down next to Troye, reaching his fingers under his glasses to rub his eyes. "Me too" Tyler said with a yawn as he closed his eyes. Troye looked down at the boy laying next to him, his blue hair resting flat on his forehead his eye's shut lightly. Troye was deeply infatuated with the boy resting next to him. He cared so deeply for a boy who didn't love himself. But Troye didn't mind, he loved Tyler enough for the both of them.

Thank you guys for over 300 reads, I really didn't think anyone would read this so I hope you all are liking it so far. I am writing a few chapters in advanced and I have the worst writers block ever so I figured that I would update.
