A/N: there is a lot of dialogue in this chapter, hope that's okay.... *mild trigger warning* also unedited (not even sorry)
It was still dark in the bedroom when Troye opened his eyes, far too emotionally drained to get out of bed. What was the point anyway. He could hear Tyler fumbling around in the kitchen but he didn't make any move to get up.
He rolled onto his side and pulled the covers up his body. He hated being awake, the depression was worst when he was awake, constantly reminding him of all the things that were wrong with him and all the people we was disappointing. His demons were screaming in his mind as he laid motionless on the bed.
"Troye?" Tyler questioned "are you awake?"
"Yes" Troye said not rolling to look at him, instead just laying in the same spot
"Dan wants to talk to you, we can go to him or he can come here. It's up to you" Tyler said, sitting on the edge of the bed and placing his hand on Troye's shoulder
"I don't care" Troye said
Tyler sighed "Okay, I'll just tell him to come here" he said
"tell him I'm fine, he doesn't need to come" Troye said "We can just wait for our appointment"
"Troye, he's coming you're not fine" Tyler insisted sitting down in Troye's line of view "You're scaring the shit out of me right now" he said with his eyes glossy with tears
"Sorry" Troye said "I'll change it will be fine"
"I don't want you to change Troye, I want you to get better and be happy and I'm going to do everything I can to help you" Tyler said
"Don't bother, I'm a lost cause" Troye mumbled moving the lay flat on his back to look up at the ceiling. Tyler wiped away the tears on his face before getting up. He couldn't listen to Troye talking this way, it was breaking his heart. He bent down and kissed Tyler's forehead before walking back out into the livingroom. He text Dan and told him to come over, hoping that he could help Troye.
Dan arrived in less than thirty minutes, knocking on the door and letting himself in before having a quick discussion with a teary eyed Tyler. He was an emotional mess, telling Dan how Troye was acting so numb and distant. Dan took what Tyler was saying and began to calm Tyler down, telling the boy to go get something to drink and eat because it was far past lunch and he hadn't yet.
Dan walked into Troye's room, which still remained dark because the lights were off and the shades were down. Troye was laying in the same position on his back. Dan walked in a pulled the shade up, letting a little bit of light shine in. "Troye its Dan" he said getting closer to the bed
"I know"
"I wanted to help you judge how you are feeling right now" Dan said
"nothing" Troye said plainly
"What"
"I feel nothing, I still want to die" Troye said "Nothing has changed, except now I'm sober and don't want to be here"
"but why Troye, what is causing this...what triggered you" Dan asked "I can't help if you don't meet me half way"
"I don't what triggered me, I just don't want to get out of bed" Troye mumbled "I can't, I feel heavy"
"okay so on a scale of one to ten, how are do you think it would be for you to get out of bed?" Dan asked
"A seven" Troye said
Dan nodded "okay so today's a seven, what are some things I can do to make it a six"
Troye didn't even have to think "get Tyler"
