Chapter 4:Trip around school

"HEY MS. ALEXIS!" I heard my teacher shouted as she turned around at the students from the whiteboard.

"Yes,Ms. Valle?" I innocently asked. Uh oh. Maybe she caught me this time! I'm not prepared tho.

"Can you please get my laptop in the teacher's room?" She asked calmly. Eh~ that's the only thing she wants? Then why shout? Pft. Teachers as always.

"Yes I will"
"Oh thank you. You're my only student that came into my mind that's why" she explained.

I did not care and just left the room to get Ms. Valle's laptop. Why would she need it? That's not my business after all.

I'm not used to this school and I keep wandering around where the teacher's room might be.

I saw a sign and followed it. I was walking along the very long hallway to that room. Why does it have to be this far? And why me?

I heard my notification tone of my phone in my pocket. It's not on a silent? Ohh.

While checking my phone,I continued walking but then I bumped into someone! Why it's always meee?

I looked up from my phone to see who the person is and I was surprise to see Carl.. AGAIN. 2nd time for the day!

He's also checking his phone,while smiling. so maybe that's why we bumped into each other.

"Hey watch where you're going Mr. Mendoza!" I shouted at him.

"Oh i'm so sorry. You bumped into me first."

"Really? when? When?"

"You don't know? I'm the one that bumped into you last week that's why your ID fell"

"I'm sorry then." I feel so sorry even if I don't have to.

"No it's alright. I know you're busy. Now get going. See you around!" He cheeringly said while smiling and waving at the same time.

"Okay? Was that supposed to tease me or what?" I muttered to myself,hoping he doesn't heard it although he's running away already.

I continued walking while I continue to check my phone. I looked at the name of the one who texted me.

It's an unknown number and it said: Goodmorning! Have a great day ahead beautiful. Sorry for earlier.

I thought about it while walkinh who might this be. I stood outside the teacher's room at last.

"Excuse me,where is Ms. Valle's table?" I asked the teachers who are resting there.

"It's there" a teacher pointed out and I walked to it.

"Thank you Sir!" I grabbed the laptop bag and hurriedly walked back to my classroom.

"What took you so long Ms. Alexis?" Ms. Valle asked me while hands folding on her chest.

"I'm sorry. I got lost looking for the teacher's room"

"Okay. Just put it here and then go back to your seat. Thank you Zia." She said while sitting on her chair.

"You're so dead. She discussed a very hard lesson and you're not there!" Chris worriedly..no not worriedly,Chris scaringly said when I already sat down.

"Yah! It's not my fault. Besides,you're going to teach me right? Please?" I said to him while doinh cute actions.

"Stop it Zia. It's not working. Go on and read that lesson"

"Eunggg." I continued with cute actions while holding his arms.

"I told you to stop okay. I'm also reading here,can't you see?" He said while looking like he's pissed with me so I already stopped it.

"Okay Fine" I rolled my eyes as I said those words.

This guy is very fun to be with. Chris became my firsy friend here in this campus after all.
