Chapter 7:Fate?

"Secret! Hulaan mo!" He continues. His voice seems really familiar. I held his hands while trying to remove it from my eyes.

Mahigpit masyado ang pagkakatakip nya until I said,"Masakit na!" Napalakas masyado and it seems OA kaya tinanggal nya na agad.

Right after he removed his hands,I looked at my back knowing that I really know this guy.

"Carl,i'm sorry. I'm here to meet someone. Please don't bother me" I looked at his face and he looks strange. While I was saying those words,he is smiling. I then continued,"Bakit? Please just leave. I need to know who that guy is. I'm waiting for so long"

He's still smiling oh my gosh. He started to open his mouth while saying the words,"I am THAT guy" and smiled so sweetly.

"Kalokohan nito. Pano mo naman ako mapapapaniwala dyan ha?" I said while sticking out my tongue. "Make me believe and I will for real"

"I'll guess who gave you that rose" he demanded,looking down at the rose that unknown guy gave to me. "I'll also guess what was written on the sticky note on that rose awhile ago"

I started panicking. My heart started thumping. I removed the sticky note on that rose after reading it so how on Earth would he know what is written. He don't even know that there was a note there.

"Okay then." I agreed knowing that he will not make it right. "Prove it Mr. Mendoza"

We sat down on the nearest table in that fries stall.

"I really will" aba,competetive talaga. "An unkown guy gave it to you"

"Of course it is" I raised an eyebrow. "Then what is written on the sticky note,Carl?"

He started reciting every word that I read from that sticky note. After that,I checked if it's still in my pocket. And yes it is.

If it's still there,it's impossible that he read it so I truly believe now that he wrote it and gave it to me and he's the mysterious guy.

Sa wakas,nalaman ko na din. Swerte pa na si Carl pala yun. Si Carl na crush na crush ko.

"Oh.. okay" napatahimik talaga ako since I can't believe. I added,"Then why send rose and a sticky note with a cheesy thing?"

"Slow mo naman. Fix the puzzle that you'll know someday." I was confused of what he said. Puzzle? "One of the parts in the puzzle is missing and you need to know what that part is"

I'm really confused and curious at the same time. I don't really get it. Why give things like this to me?

I can't solve this kind of things.

Duh,Zia. He's already giving you a puzzle to complete but you're making it long. Nagbibigay sya ng puzzle sayo pero bago mo pa makumpleto yun,di mo alam kung ano ibig sabihin nya. Eh pano mo makukumpleto ang isang bagay without hardships?

"Dami mo namang alam! Sige na,thanks for being with me and making my day!" I saw his eyes that is confusingly looking at me. "For making my day so happy everytime you text me. Plus today na nalaman ko pang ikaw yun"

I blushed with all of those last words I told him. And because of the embarassment,I left him with the rose and finished choco drink in my hand.

The class was dismissed already and Chris decided to be with me until we reach the gates of the campus.

I think this is the right time to ask him what Carl have told me.

"Chris,what is a puzzle that I need to complete in my life?"
