Chapter 6:Choco Drink

Break time,designated place,canteen. I was looking for the guy who texted me but no one's showing up.

Until I saw Carl,running towards me while waving. Omg. Sya yun? Sya yung katext ko. Gosh,I can't believe it.

"Uh.. Hello" I said as I waved back but then he walked past me. Ah,so he's waving at someone who's behind me huh? Paasa.

I checked my phone that vibrated seconds ago. The unknown number again. I want this number to be known,please.

"Sorry for not showing up. I'll try later at lunch time. So yeah this is one of the hints. I'm studying at your school" Tas ano,di ka rin magpapakita ha?

Edi nagreply ako ng "Bahala ka sa buhay mo! Ganyan naman kayong mga lalaki eh,paasa. Ayoko na makipagkita sayo."

I was frowning while crossing a hand infront of my chest when someone patted my shoulder and said,"Okay lang yan Zia. Kaya mo yan" I looked up and saw Carl. As in si Carl. I cannot. He continued while handing me a choco drink box "Oh ito. Chocolate drink. I heard na favorite mo daw to"

"Ano naman ngayon? Favorite ko nga. Oh tapos?"
"Sungit naman nito. Kunin mo na lang. Brokenhearted ka pa naman"
"Ha! Ano? Brokenhearted? Di ah. Nagalit lang ako dun sa katext ko"
"Aw kawawa naman si Zia" he teased me but ended up saying "Kunin mo na to oh" and he left me.

Di man lang ako hinayang mag thank you. Asus. Kilig naman ako. I'll drink this and clean this at home. Why clean? Because I will keep it. Memory to no. First thing that was given to me here in school.by.my.first.crush.

I ran upstairs before getting late for the next class. I sat down and luckily,sakto lang ang dating ko sa klase. "Himala,hindi ka late ngayon ah!" Bati ni chris sakin as I landed the choco drink that Carl gave to me.

"Shut up." Then me and Chris zipped our mouth till lunch time.

Bago pa ko makalabas ng classroom for lunch,someone walked to me and gave me a rose with a sticky note on it.

"I'll be infront of the fries stall.

Eyy! So cheesy naman nito. Sino ba kasi tong lalaking to.

Willing akong makasabay tong guy na to. Ay,kawawa naman si Chris. Supposedly,sya ang kasabay ko.

"Sino yan? Ikaw ah may secret admirer ka na pala!" He teased me while ruffling my hair and then left me saying,"Mauna na ko ah! I'll hangout with them" he said,pointing to his friends.

Pagpasok ko ng canteen,ininom ko ang choco drink na binigay ni Carl awhile ago. Nakakakilig talaga!

Think of it,almost 5 years ko na syang crush tapos ngayon nya lang ako nabigyan ng something!

I rushed to the fries stall and waited for that guy while sipping from the straw of my choco drink.

I keep looking right and left to look for that guy knowing that my drink is already finished.

Until someone covered my eyes with hands from behind and I heard a very familiar voice saying,"Hello. It's me"

I chuckled and then said,"I waited for so long but who are you?"
