Chapter 37: Sorry.

Kakaalis lang ni Carl at kinuha ko ang phone ko. I was so bored and I didn't want to sleep yet.

Not until my phone vibrated. It's Courtney. I opened her message. "Me and Chris watched a movie together at the mall! I had a lot of fun."

"Tinalo nyo pa kami. Di pa nga kami nakapag-sine na magkasama kami eh. So what happened?" I replied.

"Yun lang. Ansaya pala kasama nun no?"
"So na-fall ka na?"
"Siguro. Di naman siguro sya pa-fall no?"
"Di yun! Ang bait-bait kaya nya."
"Okay,okay." She added, "Diba naging gusto ka nun?"

"Yes. At last,naka-move on na sya!"
"Hahahaha good thing."
"Amazing. Two bestfriends ko,mai-inlove sa isa't isa. Perfect!"
"Oo na lang."

And then she said, "Goodbye na,Zia!".

"Okay. Goodnight,Courtney!" I replied.

Wow. The time will come that we will have a double date!

I woke up to Faye's text. A text. Not a chat. What could this be?

"Hey! Wanna hangout with me and Bianca tomorrow? My treat. You can bring your guy if you want :)) "

I missed this two so I decided to text her back. "Okay sure! Where do we meet?" I replied to her.

I got up from bed,washed my face and headed down to eat breakfast. My brother's here,at last. So we ate together and I charged my phone upstairs.

While watching the television,I saw right in the corner of my eye that my phone lit up. Faye replied, "The coffee shop in your neighbourhood. 1pm? We'll bring you to somewhere fun."

"Okay! I'll go with Carl and then bring your boyfriends,too."

"Sure!" She replied,and then I didn't text back anymore.

I had to stay at home today because there's nothing to do. I just focused on watching even I can't understand what the characters were saying.

It's almost lunch time so I decided to go online because for sure,Carl's already awake. I sent a message to him. "Hellooooo my princeeee! Sama ka sakin bukas? I'll hangout with Faye and Bianca."

A few more minutes,he replied, "Hey,babe sorry I can't come. I'm busy."

"Oh,sure. It's okay." I said and he never replied again. What was that?

Ano namang kinabu-busyhan nya? Oh yeah sure,I'm okay with that. TOTALLY. And the thing that you didn't replied back? I'm cool with that,Carl. Super.

So I decided to went down without my phone because it was charging,and saw Courtney,sitting on the couch. "Yow ma bae!" She greeted me with those swag hands and a few more seconds,she spreaded her arms,wanting to hug me.

"Bae? Dude,I'm not your bae." I said,stepping a little bit backward. "Chris is your bae."

"Meron ka ngayon no? Bat ganyan ang greet mo sakin?" She asked me so I answered why. Of course it's because of Carl! Duh?

"Okay lang yan beh. Ngayon lang yan. Baka naman busy talaga." She said,trying to comfort me with her words.

I decided to stop thinking about Carl and we talked about her,falling for Chris. It's not the only thing we talked about. Well,we talked about a lot of nonsense things until she went back home.

After a few more hours of just staying at home,laying down on my bed with my phone,I realized it's already bedtime.

"Sorry. I didn't messaged you for a while. I'll be texting you a lot tomorrow,don't worry. Goodnight,my princess!" Chat ni Carl ang bumungad sakin bago ako matulog.

At dahil medyo naiinis ako sakanya, simpleng "Goodnight." lang ang reply ko.

I went straight to the coffee shop after eating lunch and waited for Faye and Bianca. I ordered choco latte while waiting for them and drank it not until I noticed it's already the last sip. Isang lunok na lang to pero wala pa sila. 1:30pm na oh! Ano to,lokohan?

I waited for few more minutes until I felt my phone vibrated. Bianca texted, "Uy bes sorry di kami makakapuna ni Faye ah. May nangyari kasi eh. Sorry talaga!"

I let it off and did not care anymore. Nubayan eh. Nagmaganda-gandang suot pa ko,wala naman pala akong dadatnan.

At dahil ayoko ngang masayang ang damit ko,dumiretso na lang akong mall.

Nagpalakad-lakad lang ako dun at nag-window shopping. Napatigil na lang ako ng may nakita akong 2 familiar faces inside a gift shop. .
