Chapter Six- 'Our First Kiss <3'

~Mason's POV~

I knew Ashley had heard what I said because I saw her smile a little bit, but then frown.

"Look, Mason. I know that Ashley is really confused about this whole thing, I would explain it to her, but I think it would be better if you did. You two need to get to know each other anyway." Ashley's dad said.

"So, what are you saying, sir?"

He sighed and said, "I'm asking you to stay the night and talk to my daughter about this situation." I looked at Ashley and she was looking at the floor intensely. I would love to spend time with Ashley, so of course, I accepted. He trusted that we wouldn't do anything, so he said I could sleep in her room. He walked away and I turned to look at Ashley. She was still looking at the ground.

"Look at me, Ash." I pleaded. She shook her head no.

"Ashley, please? What's wrong." I said getting on my knees again. She looked away so she wouldn't look at me.

"Ashley...." I said in a warning voice.

"Ashley, god damn it! Answer me! I didn't do anything!" I said loudly causing her to flinch. I felt bad immediately after that and I shook my head and sighed.

"Look, Ashley, I know we just met, and I know I just scared you, and I know that you heard what I said before. I meant it. I really do love you. I only snapped at you because I don't want you to ignore me. Babe-"

"Don't call me babe! Please....." She said. Her eyes started tearing up. I could tell she was getting ready to run away from me. I stood up and put my hands around her waist.

"Mason, let me go." She said.

"No, you're just going to run away from me. I told you that I didn't like it when you did that. Please Ashley, talk to me. Or at least look at me..." I pleaded. She looked up and she had tears running down her face. I wiped the tears off with my hand and it surprised me when she didn't move away. I pulled her closer to me and I wrapped her arms around my waist since she couldn't reach my neck. I buried my face in the crook of her neck and I kissed it once. I felt her snuggle into my chest and I smiled.

"Better?" I asked with my head still in her neck. She nodded and I chuckled. I could feel her smile into my chest. We stood there for a few minutes and then she pulled away. "It's a good thing I didn't wear make-up or else your shirt would be ruined." She giggled and I smiled.

"I wouldn't mind. Is it just me, or did it get colder out here?" I said indicating that I wanted her to come back and cuddle into my chest again.

"No, it's cold, but I'm not hugging you again." She smirked.

"You'll do a lot more than hug me, cutie. Trust me." I winked.

She came closer and motioned me to bend down so my ear was level to her mouth, "Trust me, I wont." She said and walked away.

I stood there remembering how her warm breath felt on my neck. I stood there and I felt Mason Jr. wanting to come out. "Damn you, Ashley." I muttered. I walked into the bathroom and took care of my..um..problem and walked out. I walked around looking for Ashley and then I saw her talking to some guy. I growled and walked over to her and I snaked my arm around her waist. She looked at me than whispered, "What are you doing?"

I bent down so only she could hear, "I'm the jealous type. No guy talks to my girlfriend without me listening in."

"Who said I was your girlfriend?" She asked slightly with a smirk on her face.

I pretended to think for a moment and said seductively in her ear, "I do."

"Cocky now, are we?" She smirked full on now.
