(PRINCESS BUBBLEGUM'S POV)

It's been a week since access to Aaa has been obviated. Poor Marcy never left her house since. Flame Princess is in Aaa and Gumball is in Ooo. Luckily for Gumball, Fionna is there to watch over his kingdom. And I just asked Finn to watch over the Fire Kingdom for the meantime. It'll be kinda hard since he is not a fire elemental, but it will be really necessary.

"Here you go," I said as I handed him the fire suit I just built. "Thanks," he said with a smile and he began to try it on. I placed a hand on his shoulder. "I hope you understand why I'm making you do this," I uttered, remorse.

"It's okay, I got this," he said with a positive attitude. He then hopped on to Jake's back. "Bye!" He yelled as he waved his hand. "Later P-bubs!" Jake bid. I waved my hands and smiled, and Jake stretched out of the palace and journeyed to the Fire Kingdom.

I walked to my room and I met Gumball in the hallway on my way there. "Good morning sugar," he greeted as he gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Good morning," I greeted with a smile.

"Something wrong?" He asked. Okay I guess he could tell the difference between the variations of my smile. This one's a fake smile. I let out a sigh. "It's Marcy," I said honestly. "I'm so worried about her. Only Marshall made her feel alive again, and now that he's gone... I don't know how she'll cope up with that."

"Calm down, Bonniebel. Don't think like that. My best friend is not gone, and your best friend is going to be alright, okay?" He said in a very assuring manner. "We'll work together to find a solution to this problem, okay? That would mean a lot to everyone, especially to Marshall, Marceline, Finn and Fionna."

I smiled and hugged him. "I hope we can fix this soon," I said. "We will," he whispered. I pulled away. "I'll just go pay Marcy a visit," I said and he nodded. I continued to walk to my room. I grabbed the basket of apples I prepared earlier. "See you later, my prince," I said as I walked past Gumball. "Be careful, my princess," he replied.

I called Morrow, my giant brown-feathered falcon. I rode on her back and we flew to Marceline's cave. She landed just outside the cave. I got down and pet her. "Wait here."

I walked to Marcy's house and knocked on the door. "Marcy!" There was no answer. I knocked again. "Marcy? It's Bonnie!" Still, no answer. "Okay, I'll let myself in!" I yelled to let her know. I turned the knob and it was locked. Ha! I so have my best friend's house keys. Without her consent.

I inserted the key and unlocked the door. It was very dark and silent. "I'll turn on the lights!" I yelled to Marcy, wherever she may be. I flicked the light switch and the light flickered on. She's not here.

"Marcy, come on! Don't lock yourself in." I exclaimed, my voice now filled with worry. I climbed up the ladder that connects to her room, my one hand holding the basket and the other I used to climb. It was really dark. "I'll turn on the lights," I said again but this time, in a serious manner. The light flickered on and there she was, lying on her bed, her back towards me.

She wore an oversized black shirt, probably Marshall's, and a pair of white shorts. A few pictures were scattered on the floor. I walked slowly towards her and looked at the pictures. They were all her memories with Marshall. Pictures, snapshots of him, and their pictures together. Marceline is not really vain and kinda camera shy despite her beauty, so there were no solo pictures of her.

I bent down to look at them and placed the basket on the floor. A picture of their first date, which was in the Cotton Candy forest in Aaa. Written on the photo were the the words 'first date'. They still weren't officially together at that time.

Another picture of them just jamming outside Marceline's cave. Marshall took a selfie carrying his guitar on one hand, with Marceline in the background, playing her bass. She wasn't looking at the camera.

I collected the two pictures. I looked at another one. It was a picture of Marshall, a candid shot actually. He was holding a strawberry, looking away. Nothing was written on the photo.

A picture of their hands, only their hands, holding each other. 'The day she said yes'. It was written in a different penmanship. Obviously Marshall's. I picked it up.

I collected the pictures on the floor. I noticed another one. It was a picture of them in the Marshmallowy Mweadows. Marshall took a selfie with Marcy with the beautiful flowers in the background. '365 days with you♡'. It was Marshall's handwriting. Wow, I've just discovered a significant difference between these two. I laughed mentally at the thought. Or maybe Marcy changed Marshall, from being a formidable inferior into a soft-hearted man.

I picked up the rest of the photos and aligned them properly before I placed them on her drawer. "Who knew you were such a memory hoarder," I strike a conversation, hoping to get her to talk. Marceline didn't reply.

I picked up the basket of apples and walked to her bed. "Marcy..." I moaned with deep sorrow. She looked at me and I saw how her eyes swelled and became reddish from crying. Her face was wet with tears.

You're making me worry, Marcy. But I brushed the perturbation off my face and replaced it with an encouraging smile. "Come on," I said simply. She sat up to the edge of her bed and weighed on her arms. She looked down, silent and stifling.

I sat beside her, leaned my head on her shoulder and wrap my arms around her, my clasped hands resting on her other shoulder. "Marcyyyyyyy," I groaned. "Don't lock yourself in. This is very unhealthy for you."

"What, you want me to get some sunlight?" Marcy said sarcastically. I sighed. "You know damn well that's not what I meant." I pulled away and picked up the basket of apples. "Here, I brought you these," I uttered as I showed her the basket.

"I'm not hungry," she said simply. "You haven't eaten much!" I exclaimed. "But did you see me turn into an ugly monster and suck your low grade red?" She replied. I sat properly. "C'mon, don't be like that. You need to eat."

"I said I'm not hungry."

I sighed deeply. "Marcy," I started to annoy her until she gives up. She ignored my attempts to make her eat. I guess I can't do anything, so I just placed it back on her drawer. I sat back on the bed beside her.

"How are you feeling?" I asked her. She answered my question with another question. She looked at me, her crimson eyes flooded with stifled tears. "I'm going to see him again, right?" She asked, her voice weak and shaky.

"Of course you will. I've already started my research and we'll fix the portal as soon as possible," I said in a very assuring manner. "I'll help," she unexpectedly said. "W-what?" I asked, shocked.

"I don't want to just lay helplessly here. I'll help. Tell me what to do, and I'll do it. Tell me what you need and I'll get it for you. I'll do everything to see Marshall again. History repeated itself but I won't wait like I did before. This time, I'll work for it."

That brought a smile to my face. Finally, Marcy. "I promise Marcy, we'll see him again," I said with a positive attitude and we hugged. "Now, let's fix you up," I said with a smile as I pulled away.

I grabbed her hair brush and brushed her hair. I wiped her tears. Then I told her to go to the bathroom to freshen up. She washed her face. She changed into her black ripped jeans, but still wearing Marshall's black shirt. She tied her hair into a ponytail.

"Look who finally went out of her cave!" I yelled excitedly as we arrived in the palace. Gumball approached us. Marceline floated weakly, looking down, her hand on her other arm.

"Marcy, you finally got out of bed," Gumball said jokingly, smiling. We have to show positive attitude to Marcy to hopefully motivate her. I know she needs all the support right now. Unlike her, Finn is at least doing fine because he believes that we can get the portal fixed. Marcy's way of thinking is rather complex.

"How are you?" Gumball asked. "I want to see Marshall, and I'll work for it," she said simply with a smile that quickly disappeared. We could feel the  hope and positivity burried deeply somewhere in her eyes and in her words.
