(MARSHALL'S POV)

Marceline was already up and nowhere to be found in the room. She's probably in the dining room as I heard her chatting with Hunson from here. I got up and flew to the dining room to see Hunson once again preparing breakfast.

"Morning love," Marcy greeted as she stood up, floated towards me and gave me a peck on the cheek. "Morning queen," I greeted back as I wrapped my arm around her waist, to which I earned a glare from Hunson.

I shrugged it off and we sat down the table. I sat next to Marcy. Hunson clipped two bacon strips from the cooking pan and placed them on Marcy's plate. He then turned to me and scowled at me. He reluctantly put the bacon on my plate.

I beamed at him. "Thaaanks dad," I mocked innocence. He stared at me with narrowed eyes. "Don't call me that," he muttered. "Kay," I said silently and began to eat. Marcy silently snickered.

Schwabl came yapping and Marcy took care of him. "So, Marshall," Hunson pronounced my name with distaste. "Your mother wanted you to marry someone else, right?" Curse you.

"Yeah. But it's never going to happen," I answered defensively. Hunson's unpredictable. "Why?" He asked. Oh, he knows. "'Cause I love your daughter," I admitted boldly as I sipped the red from the bacon.

He cleared his throat at my words. "Why does your mother want you to marry that other girl?" He asked. "Business. She thinks Ashley is a more suitable wife. Well she's not. I don't know what goes through mom's brain," I sighed. "She takes business more seriously than her only son."

Hunson fell silent.

Oh... yeah. I forgot how much he and mom were alike. He must've felt guilty with my words. He once again cleared his throat and turned to Marcy who we haven't noticed while we were having a little chat. On her plate were inervated bacon strips, and she had a normal one in the grasp of her thumbs and index fingers. She was nipping the edges of the bacon as she slowly drains it out of color.

"What are you doing?" I asked her as I stared at her odd behavior. "Marcy, you said it yourself. You're old enough, start acting like it," Hunson stated as he eyed her.

She stopped what she was doing and looked at us with a poker face. "Excuse me, I'm eating for two here," she responded. Our eyes widened at her answer. "W-what?" Hunson stammered. My mouth gaped in disbelief. Was she..?

Marcy looked at us weirdly and for a second she looked confused. Then as if sudden realization hit her, she laughed. "Oh! No, I meant Schwabl," she giggled as she pointed down. Hunson and I looked under the table and saw Schwabl licking up the nips of bacon Marcy had purposely dropped to the floor.

"Marshall!" Marcy called. "In the kitchen Babe!" I answered. I took one cherry and sucked its color and then closed the fridge. Marcy came in with a basketball, wearing a loose sleeveless shirt and my shorts.

"I found my ball. Let's play," she said excitedly as she tossed the ball up and down. "Sure," I beamed excitedly and we flew to the backyard. I was wearing a pair of maroon boxer shorts and a white shirt. As we arrived, I took off my shirt.

"Okay, we can't use our vampiric or demonic abilities. No floating, flying or gliding, no supernatural strength, no supersonic speed, no telekinesis or whatever," Marcy stipulated.

"Challenge accepted," I grinned. We just played basketball all day and it was rather challenging since we have to play it like humans. Marceline's good at it too.

Eventually, I let Marcy win. Her victorious actions are just so cute.

Hunson appeared clapping his hands. "It's a shame you got beaten by a girl," he chuckled, which annoyed me. "As if you could do better," I countered, a smirk playing across my lips as I dribbled the ball. "Oh, you're challenging me?" He laughed. I bobbed my head in agreement. "Well then," he removed the amulet from his neck and along with it came off his business suit, so he was only wearing a tank top and pink boxers.
