(MARCELINE'S POV)

I sat alone in Bonnie's lab. I come here often, hoping that the portal lights up again. I really miss Marshall, so much. I sat on the cold floor and positioned my bass.

I played some chords and sang.

Let's go in the garden
You'll find something waiting
Right there where you left it
Lying upside down

When you finally find it
You'll see that it's faded
The underside is lighter
When you turn it around

Every...thing... What?

The portal! It's lighting up! Could it be?! "Bonnie!" I yelled as I put my bass down and stood up. "Gumball!" I yelled again, only to get no response.

For a split second, there was an explosion of light and everything went white. Nothing was visible. I blinked a few times to adjust my vision. The light was gone. The first thing I saw was Marshall running to me.

"Marshall!" I yelled as I hugged him. Tears flooded my face as I locked my arms around him. He hugged me back tightly and caressed the back of my head. "Marceline," his voice shaky. His tear ran to my face. It's real. He's back. I can't believe it, and that only made me hug him tighter, wanting this embrace to last longer. I fell into my knees and he also kneeled on one knee and his other foot on the ground.

Fionna, Phoebe and Flame Prince were also there, sitting on monster-sized Cake standing before the portal which was getting smaller.

A familiar voice called Marshall's name. We parted and saw Helena followed by Ashley. The portal was gone. Ashley was wearing a wedding gown. That's when I noticed that Marshall was wearing a tuxedo. What's this?

"Run," Marshall whispered and we all scrambled to the door. While we flew out with the other running behind us, and Helena and Ashley and a bunch of demons and wizards chasing us, I asked Marshall, "What the hell is going on?"

"Marcy, I'll explain later," He said. "Are you and Ashley married?!" I ignore his statement. "No! I'll explain later okay?" He replied. Fine, I suppose he has a good reason.

We finally reached the courtyard of the castle. "What's going on here?!" Bonnie blurted as she ran towards us. The demons and wizards were all around us by now, blocking every possible exit.

As Fionna explained everything to Bonnie and Gumball, Marshall approached me and held my hand. "Marcy, the truth is, I almost married Ashley."

"What?!" I exclaimed, my demon eyes showing. "No, no, don't get mad. I did it for us," he tried to calm me down. "What? How?" I asked, confused. "Mom and I made a deal. If I married Ashley, she would open the portal. So I agreed. But I asked Fionna and the others to help me. And before I was supposed to say 'I do,' they were able to open the portal."

I hugged him. He went through all those for me. "I didn't say yes," he whispered.

"Marshall!" Ashley called which broke our hug. She looked so angry. Her gown was dirtied and slightly torn. Helena was just behind her. "Marshall how could you do this to me?!" She yelled, tears flowing down her face.

"I never really wanted to do it in the first place, but you pushed me to do it!" Marshall yelled back. "You're never going to listen, are you?" Helena said calmly, her hands crossed.

"How about you listen to me just this once, mom?" Marshall countered. The situation was risky. One wrong move and Helena could order her demons to kill us at the snap of a finger.

"Fine," Helena said. Everybody was surprised by her answer, even Ashley. "What?" Ashley said slowly. "Leave him be," Helena replied. She grabbed Ashley's shoulder and turned her around. They made a portal to the Nightosphere and disappeared, the demons and wizards following them.

"Hey!" We all turned around to see Finn on giant Jake. He immediately jumped down and ran to Fionna. He held her hands as he stared into her eyes. "I missed you," he said innocently. Fionna then gave him a hug.

It actually made me smile that they've seen each other finally. I felt two hands slide around my waist and pull me close. A pair of soft lips then kissed my cheek. I caressed his head. I turned around to hug him.

"I missed you so much, Marshall," I whispered into his ear. Tears started to form at my eyes. He hugged me tighter and whispered, "You have no idea what I've been through."

I didn't wait any longer. I cupped his cheeks in my hand and pulled to kiss his lips.

"Woah, what happened here?" Marshall asked as he entered the cave. "What?" I asked as I followed, confused. The sight shocked me. My house, and what seemed to be Marshall's house, stood there, and it looked like two cars that crashed onto each other, only that these are houses. The windows were broken and the wooden walls were cracked due to 'impact'.

What happened?!" I asked, although obviously he doesn't know. "I don't know," Marshall replied.

"Isn't that your house?"

"Looks like it," he said simply.

"What the heck is going on?" I asked as I flew closer to examine. "My stuff!" I rushed to pick up my diary and my memory box that fell out the window.

I flew inside and Marshall followed. Everything was messed up. The furnitures were out of place, objects fell on the floor, part of Marshall's house was in my house. I put the diary and memory box on the table.

"We need to go back to the Candy Kingdom and find out what's happening. This is seriously messed up," Marshall said behind me and and I turned around to face him. I nodded in agreement and proceeded to fly towards the door when my phone vibrated. It was Bonnie. I answered.

"Marceline! Where are you?" She asked as soon as I picked up. "I'm at home. Listen--" "I'm coming," she said and then hung up.

"Bonnie's coming," I informed Marshall, "let's just wait."

Marshall and I just sat down on the deck of my house which was barely moved. The sound of Bonnie's large bird echoed after a few minutes. We stood up and went to the mouth of the cave to meet Bonnie and Gumball. Morrow flew away after the two hopped down.

"Hey," I greeted them. "What's going on?" Marshall asked straightforwardly.

"So this is what happened," Bonnie said as she observed the houses, ignoring Marshall's question. "That's... unfortunate," Gumball remarked. "So... what's going on?" I repeated the question.

"It seems that Ooo and Aaa collided, like literally," Bonnie said simply. I needed more than just statement. "What? How?" Marshall asked. "It happened when the portal opened. Ooo and Aaa became one and the portal is gone. Everyone in Ooo and Aaa live in the same world now. And I guess the land expanded too," Bonnie explained.

"Really? What happened to your palace then?" I asked. "Nothing happened. It's all the same. That's because Gumball's castle was exactly the same as mine, so it stayed as it is. Finn's treehouse became bigger as it merged with Fionna's treehouse. Your houses on the other hand..."

"Our houses had different structures so..." I said slowly. "Yeah," Marshall finished the statement.
