(PRINCESS BUBBLEGUM'S POV)
"WHAAAT?!" I exclaimed in disbelief after Marcy told me about her and Marshall's situation. "His mother would go that far?"
"I know. His mom is whack with poo brain."
"Understatement! Poo brain doesn't even begin to describe it," I blurted instantly as soon as she finished her sentence.
"What can vampires do?" Marcy mocked, "Ugh!" She exclaimed as she took another sip on the glass of blood substitute. I was sleeping when she barged in here, also in her pajamas, bringing her blood substitute. It's now around 12 o'clock. Now it's like we're having an unplanned girls' night. I took a sip on my cup of tea. "I'll show her what I can do!" She continued grumbling.
"Don't stress over that, Marcy. It's not worth it," I said, now seriously.
"You're right," she said as she sighed. "There's just so much going on in my head right now."
"That's understandable. That's why I'm staying up with you, to keep you company so you don't have to think about it," I said with a smile. She smiled at me and drank.
"I-I also want to tell you something," I said nervously. I feel so guilty that I haven't told her yet.
"What is it?"
"Uh... did you already know about me and Gumball?"
She stopped drinking and looked at me wide-eyed. "No way! You guys too?" She exclaimed.
Huh?
"What?" I asked, confused, "What do you mean?"
"What is up with you guys?" She asked as she laughed a bit, and I'm more confused than ever.
"What are you talking about?"
"There's Finn and Fionna, and Phoebe and Flame Prince, I think, whatever, but they're getting there. And now you and Gumball? Wow," she spoke like she finds it funny, "Why all of a sudden?" She chuckled. I laughed as well.
"Sorry I wasn't able to tell you earlier. We somehow, had the 'spark' since day one, but it's only been 2 months since we became 'official'."
"Pssh," Marceline just rolled her eyes and laughed, "That was pretty obvious."
"Marcy, I'm so glad you're getting better at sharing your problems. That way you won't have to carry your burden alone," I smiled. Marcy just looked away ang blushed.
There was silence for a while, then Marcy changed the subject, "So, uh, how are you two?"
I smiled and just went along. "Everything's great! I feel good having him around, I feel secured. And I can now talk to someone about science stuff. He also likes science but he's more into baking."
(ASHLEY'S POV)
"Aaaaaaargh!" I screamed to the top of my lungs as I threw the bottles to the ground. Why?! Why why why?!
Mrs. Lee kept silent, sitting on the bed. We were in her house, she gave me my own room. She had just told me about what Marshall said that morning.
"Calm down, Ashley," Mrs. Lee said casually.
"This is so unfair! Why would he reject me just like that?!"
"Do not stress yourself over it. We can always find a way. Don't worry."
"Ugh!" I sat down in front of the mirror. I have Marshall's portrait framed. Beside the frame is a bottle containing a red liquid. "I will make him love me. And if he's too stubborn, then I'll resort to this. Just wait til I find the last ingredient to this potion," I said with a grin. We'll always find a way.
I looked at Mrs. Lee and she smiled at me like she was proud. I turned back to the mirror. "I think I'm going to pay him a visit today," I grinned.
"Don't act without thinking, Ashley. What if Marceline is with him?" Mrs. Lee said bluntly.
"Then I guess I'll have to take care of that Marceline first." I said as I rested my chin on the back of my hand with my elbow weighed against the table.
"Hahaha, Ashley!" Mrs. Lee cackled as she stood up and walked towards me. She leaned on the back of the chair I was sitting on. "That's easy! We can make deaths look like accidents," she said wickedly.
My eyes widened with her statement. I immediately looked back to her with a wide smile. "You'd do that for me?!"
"Of course, darling. I wouldn't want my son to narry that girl, and you're the best one around! I just don't know what she sees in that girl."
"Oh, Mrs. Lee!" I exclaimed as I hugged her.
"Ashley, you will be future Mrs. Lee. So call me mom."
"Thank you, mom," I said teary-eyed.
She pulled away and looked at me in the eyes. "Just be patient. We're not going to do that just yet. Let's think of something and make a plan. But no one should ever know about this. You understand?" She sounded sternly this time. I nodded my head in agreement.
"Good," she said with an evil smile. She then walked out of the room. No one has ever cared for me this much. I hope Marshall will love me too. I've watched him for months without him knowing. He is the most handsome. That perfectly deep voice, his raven hair, his pale complexion, his perfectly shaped fangs... he is just so perfect!
But that Marceline! She has to get in the way. It was supposed to be me! I grew angry at the thought of that girl. I should've met with Marshall before she came. Then maybe we wouldn't be this way.
I just got unlucky. But just you wait, witch. Marshall is meant to be with me.
