Trying Again

Chapter Eleven

The moment i opened my eyes, I was really shocked. A bird just dropped dunk on me. Shiat!!! What the heck!!! I looked at my bird-poop infested palm, wait..Ken didn't give me anything. I looked up to him, he was laughing his butt off, " Kennn........". I pouted. He tried really hard t o stop laughing, " Yes, teddy bear? ". Hrm...teddy bear...that's a cute nickname for me.." I thought you were about to give me something....", I looked down on the floor, I felt like some 4 year old child that had her birthday cake explode in front of her eyes, shock and disappointed. Ken lifted my chin up and was about to kiss me so that I would just stop pouting, when i felt a drip of water on my head then another drip fell on my nose, is it raining? I looked at Ken, he was looking up in the sky, I joined him. Yup, it is most definately about to rain.

In a matter of seconds, the rain came pouring down and Ken grabbed my hand as we ran to find some shelter. It didn't take long until I was soaking wet. Ken pulled me closer to him. I feel so much better in his arms. We stopped at this restaurant around the corner. It's then I realised, " Hey baby bear?.." yes, I've decided to call him baby bear, since he's cute like a baby. " Yes Teddy Bear? ". "Why didn't we just go into the pet shop and instead we ran to this restaurant? "

"Yeah I knew we could have went in the pet shop..."

" They why didn't you want to go in? "

"If I brought you in, I wouldn't have to chance to hold your hand and pull you closer to me."

" Please, that's such an excuse Baby Bear.. "

Our little debate was interrupted by a waiter from the restaurant he looks like he's my age, "Hey, erm..you guys want to come in? I really don't want to see you two debating outside my restaurant, it's like we make such horrible food and you guys are just discussing about it.". I would be dumb if I said 'no'..it's totally cold out here.

We went in the restaurant, turns out it was like a Italian restaurant. All fancy and stuff. I made my way to the toilet, I really need to dry off. Its too cold in there! It was really nice of that waiter to give me and Ken a towel so that we can just dry ourselves off first. I checked my phone just in time when Chris was calling me." Yes Chris? "

"Where are you?"

" In some restaurant for shelther from the rain...why? "

"Just checking up on my little sister."

" Dude, don't lie..you never care..what do you want? "

"Fine, I was wondering if I can borrow one of your shirts for some girl."

" Who is she? Do I even know her? "

"Not sure. I forgotten her name. Forget about that! I just need a shirt!"

" Chris, just pass her your shirt. She will love it to bits, and she'll go around walking with your shirt one and telling everyone 'this is my boyfriend's shirt! Isn't he sweet to me?'..so yeah, go lend her YOUR shirts. "

"Fine..you coming home soon? I need to know if I'm going to cook dinner."

" Erm...you know what? I think I'll bring Ken along, so cook for four then! I won't be back that soon, the rain is still prouring like anything. I'll see you when I see you, kay? Byesss ".

I got out of the toilet and saw Ken leaning against the wall with arms crossed looking at me. " You know Ken, if you keep staring at me, you're going to freak me out one day.". Ken smiled and walked up towards me, "I can't help but to look at you, you're gorgeous, you're smart, you're kind, you're everything a guy could ask for.".Wow..he's deep.." Come one, I'm pretty sure anything you said just now is to get into my pants. "

"I mean it Teddy Bear. You're perfect in my eyes." . I was speechless, I mean, how can you react to all this? I'm not used to stuff like this, " T-T-Thank y-you.." .I mentally slapped myself..'thank you'?? Is that the best I have??

Ken chuckled and held my hand, lacing our fingers together, "You wanna go home yet? Its getting dark and I'm worried for you to go home alone."

" Actually..Chris is cooking dinner for some girl he just laid and called to see if I wanted him to cook for me too..I know that the girl and him might still be making out or something,so I didn't want to go eat dinner alone..so...."

"You want me to join you for dinner?".I bit my lip and nodded.

"Ok sure teddy bear..come on, let's go, the rain kinda stopped for a while."

He ordered me to wait at the restaurant's entrace while he steps out to the rain to wait for a cab, when he finally got one, he ran back to me and took his shirt off. Oh. My. God. Dude's got six packs! He's so freaking hot right now! With the rain water dripping all over him, I can't help but to be jealous of the raindrop, it gets to touch his abs!! He held his shirt above my head as we ran in the cab.

He warmth of the cab was really good. I quickly handed Ken's shirt back to him, and he began to wipe himself dry, " You know baby bear, I could just run in the cab without your shirt. Why did you do that? What if you get sick? "

"I'm not afraid if I get sick, cause I know that there is someone that would take good care of me..isn't that right teddy bear?", he said nudging me on my hand.

I shook my head in amusement and gave him a quick kiss on his cheeks.
