Trying Again

Chapter Nine

Suddenly, I tripped over something and fell straight to the ground. I waited for the pain to his my face, but there was nothing, but I did feel someone holding me. I looked up, seeing Ken holding me like I was dancing some tango dance. Wow, he really has a really good reflex. I wonder how most of the time I got to suprise attack him. Did he do that on purpose just to please me?

"Woah..careful there..you ok Bunny?". I was still shock that I would fall all a sudden. I nodded as Ken brought me back up. I started scanning the floor, seeking for the cause of me to fall. There was nothing. Did I just trip over air? I looked at Ken while tilting my head to the side, " Hey Ken, how did I fall?". Ken did a little show for me to see on how i fell. Oh my..I really trip over air. I looked down on the floor, embarrassed. I heard Ken chuckle, " Wow Bunny, you're seriously a little mystery all put together. You trip over air and you talk to yourself alot. Is there anything on your mind? And please don't tell me about your girl problems again.". He raised his hands up like he surrender. I laughed, "Promise to tell me the truth?"

"Promise." His voice sounds so determined and sure. Wow.

" Did you regret kissing me? I mean its not like you kissed me first, but I did kiss you first, you can-.."

Ken put his finger in front of my mouth, shutting me up. " No. No I did not regret kissing you, it's the thing that I have been wanting for a long time, Celina."

"Wait what? 'Wanting for a long time'? You actually wanted to kiss me before? You liked me?".

He looked so vulnerable all a sudden, his hand was rubbing the back of his neck, and just stared straight down the floor.

"Aww..Ken, do you know you're really killing me with your cuteness right now?". I used my hands to pull his face to look at me. I tip-toed up and kissed him for a while. His face was getting red, woah..rewind..did I just make him blush? Wow! I'm so awesome! WAHAHAHHAHAHA!!! I decided to put him out of his misery, " Come one, I still want to see puppies!" I dragged him when I saw a pet shop across the streets. I was about to go in to the store when Ken pulled my hand for a while. I turned wondering what's on his mind. " You go in first. I want to make a call for a sec. ". I wasn't sure if I should leave him, he looks like something is on his mind, " You sure you're ok? You don't look so well.I've never seen such a horrible expression on your face before.  "

" Wow, thank you for your not offensive comment on my face Bunny. You really know how to make a guy feel special." He held his hand to his heart. " Drama boy."

"Hey, I'm only YOUR drama boy and I know you love me no matter what." he said, winking at me. Ok, I think he's ok. At least he was able to make a joke. Well, sort of joke. I hesitated for a while and decided to trust him, I went in the pet shop a little worried.

[ Ken's POV ]

The moment Celina walked into the pet shop, I ran across the streets. I pick some pink roses and daisies at the garden, I remembered how much she liked them when she received some from some of her classmate that obviously had a crush on her, but she was too naive to know. She spend the whole day holding a pink rose and a daisy in her hand while inhaling it's sweet smell. Working with some ribbons I found from some little girl's barbie doll, I tied the flowers into a bouquet of flowers. I always kept a necklace that I made for her in my pocket. It had this simple ring on it then had Celina's name in it and an 'I Love You. Ken" word on the inside of the ring. Yes, I admit it. I had a crush on her the moment I met her. She was this innocent girl that had a sweet smile that shines whenever she smiles and her sea blue eyes were always expressive as it sparkles everytime I look into her eyes, her black hair, falls perfect to the center of her back. When I found out that she actually likes me, I totally wanted to make a move. But then I just didn't dare to. She seems so perfect and I feel like I'm just not good enough for her, so I didn't make a move on her. I told Chris and my friends that I was in love with this cheerleader hoping that Celina will forget about me and move on.

Thankfully she did. Yes, I was sad. And maybe it was because of this I started becoming a player. None of the girls I've dated before could even stand close to Celina. They were all just so slutty and love throwing themselves on me all the time. Well, I wouldn't blame them. I'm just so irresistible, plus my good looks, I'm pretty sure all the girls have a hard time not loving me. I always thought that the random girls I date would keep my mind off her. Every year she gets prettier. Scratch that, everyday she gets more amazing. She's so easy going with everything. She doesn't care of how she looks like. She doesn't spend hours and hours just dressing up or curling her hair or anything. She always tell people that it's just hair, no matter what you do with it, its not going to effect you. Easy for her to say, she's practically born perfect. She doesn't need any make up to make her blue eyes pop, she doesn't need to wear some dress to make her look slimming, she looks super comfortable in her own skin. Oh crap, why the hell am I talking to myself about this? She's not going to like you the way you like her! Heck, I'm starting to worry that she might get bored of me and want to break up with me. I mean, she kept drifting off to deep thoughts. Was she thinking about how to break up with me?
