Chapter 2: That Famous Boy

KAYE's Point of View

Nagmadali na akong umalis ng room. I looked at my schedule board:
'SECOND CLASS:
BUILDING 2,ROOM 1'
Geez.Sa kabilang building pa to.It took me another 5 minutes para makarating doon.Sa sobrang pagmamadali,hiningal tuloy ako. Hinanap ko yung inhaler ko sa bag pero wala eh. Huh! Naiwan ko na naman. Im really a
messed- up brain! Hayaan mo na nga. I have to go. I already reached the room and guess, super gulo! And another thing, theyre really noisy. Wala pa kasi yung teacher. Paano nalang ako mabubuhay sa room na to? I just sighed. Anyway,its still my class so I have to attend to it. I looked around the classroom and it seems busy silang lahat. Siguro naman, hindi nila ako mapapansin na papasok diba? Since they are all busy. But its not what I expected dahil pagpasok ko palang, nagulat ako nang may humila sa kamay ko then tinulak niya ako sa pader. Mas lalo pa niyang inilapit yung katawan niya sa kin. I looked at him at tumingin din siya sa akin. Nag- meet tuloy yung aming mga mata and we just stared at each other. Eye to eye kami within that 10 seconds...No! 20 seconds! I cant believe this. Its HIM! THAT FAMOUS BOY!

"Let me go!" I Yelled to him.
Pero hindi siya nagsalita.Straight forward lang siyang nakatingin and seryoso lang ang mukha niya. Para talaga akong nanghihina dahil sobrang lapit niya sa akin at nakahawak parin siya sa kamay ko with those dazzling eyes ang genuine smiles. Nakakatunaw talaga yung tingin niya. Pero bakit hindi siya nagsasalita? Nagtitipid ba siya ng laway?

"Anatawa nihonggo desu?(Are you japanese?). He asked boldly.

No doubts. Based on what he said, japanese nga siya. Well.as for me, natuto lang naman ako ng nihonggo kasi palagi ako noon tinuturuan ni dad..

"Watashi wa sukoshi nihonggo ga hanasemasu( I can speak a little japanese)". I replied to him.

I looked at his expression at mukhang gulat na gulat siyang marinig akong magsalita ng nihonggo.
"What about you?" Tanong ko.
"Konti lang!" He replied with a smile.
What the! Marunong naman pala siyang magsalita ng Filipino. Pinahirapan niya pa talaga ako.
I just smiled at him...

"Diba sabi ko,dont make girls cry?"
Nagulat siya nang may humawak sa likuran niya at hinila si MR.FAMOUS.
"Nii-san!(kuya!)". Pagdadabog niya.
Kuya? Magkapatid sila? Kuya niya pala yung humila sa kanya?

"You okay little cute?" He asked
"A-ahh...yep. Thanks..." I smiled
"Ahh! Zyro." Iniabot niya yung kamay niya.Well, I really wanted to have new friends so I shake his hand. Mukha naman siyang mabait.
"Im Kaye. Nice meeting you Zyro" I replied. I looked at him at ang amo ng mukha niya. Palaging naka smile and he's also handsome like that famous boy.
Ngumiti lang ako kay Zyro then umupo na kaming dalawa. Im really glad that I made another friend in here.

"By the way Zyro. He is your brother right?" Tinuro ko si Mr. Famous." What is his name?" I asked.
He was still about to answer when the teacher came. Hindi na niya nasagot. The class started and as usual we introduced ourselves first.
After a few minutes, natapos narin kaming lahat sa harapan. Sa last row nalang where Mr.Famous is seated.
"Ok next!" The teacher announced.
Ayan na. Siya na ang magsasalita.
I looked at him at tumayo na siya.

"Sorry but I think I have nothing to say" seryoso niyang sabi with a serious tone.
Napatingin kaming lahat sa kanya. Huh?
"Hahaha. Of course,just kidding. By the way, Im Kakeru Itsuki. Thats all". Tumawa lang siya then he sit down. I looked at Zyro and he seems annoyed.

'Kakeru Itsuki'
Hmm...thats s japanese name.
So totoo nga. He is a japanese but maybe, half-japanese like that. Its still a strange name but whats important is,that I already know his name and I can call him by that name.
Nag buzzer na so its already snack break. Lumabas agad ako ng room dahil feeling ko, hindi ako makahinga. Naglakad na ako paalis.
"Kaye,wait!" Someone approached me. Lumingon ako and I saw Zyro. Bakit niya ako hinabol?
"Anything Zyro?" I asked.
"Sabay na tayo" pag-aaya niya.
"Hmm...sure!" I replied.
Nagalakad na kami papuntang canteen. Hindi ko mapigilang mag tanong sa kanya.
"Ba't di mo kasama kapatid mo? I asked curiously.
"Hayaan mo na yun. He has his own business so dont mind him. Sorry nga pala sa ginawa niya kanina sayo ha? He's really stupid isnt he?"
Haha. Natawa lang ako sa sinabi niya. Based on his statement, halatang parang di sila magkasundo.
"But, you know he's really handsome and famous" I replied smiling.
"That is what he is" .he said back.
Habang naglalakad kami papuntang canteen,napa-silip kami sa practice room and there he is, Kakeru. Nagpapractice siya ng dance and OMG! Ang hot niyang sumayaw. 'Teach me how to dougie'. Pawis na pawis narin siya while practicing so I didnt expect na maghuhubad siya ng shirt right to that point. Gosh! Hindi ko ata maalis yung tingin ko sa kanya. Im paralyzed over his Sexy Body. Nagulat talaga ako when he looked to my direction. Did he saw me? Nakahiya kaya hindi na ako tumingin.
"Tara na!" Sabi ko kay Zyro
"Ok. But wait. Your cheeks looked red?"
Hinawakan ko ang pisngi ko at umiwas nalang ako ng tingin.
"Ahh,wala to. Im just really hungry". Yun nalang ang naisip kong sasabihin and he just smiled. Dumiretso na kami sa canteen. Wala pang masyadong tao kaya nakabili agad ako. Im just waiting for Zyro. Tinignan ko siya but he's gone? Huh! Saan pumunta yun? Kanina lang nasa likuran siya. Where'd he go?Para tuloy akong baliw na naghahanap sa kanya.
Kyahh! Hindi man lang siya nag paalam. Im all alone again. Humanap nalang ako ng table ko and I immediately spotted one. How does it feel to be alone? Anyway,gutom na ako so I need to eat. Hahanapin ko nalang siya mamaya.
While eating, narinig kong nagpalakpakan lahat ng students sa canteen. Napalingon ako sa harapan and WAHHH!!!
Muntik ko nang maibuga yung juice na iniinom ko. ZYRO!!?FOR REAL? Nadun sila sa harapan, in the little stage. He's holding a guitar with matching black leather jacket. Ang cool niyang tignan. Tumingin siya sa akin and he waved. I just smile at him.
Then they started to play their instruments with his band mates.
Kumanta na silang lahat; Just the way you are by Bruno Mars.

Ang galing nila promise. I looked at him while playing the guitar at ang cute ng mga mata niya with that perfect smile and dimples. How I wish I have a brother like him. Cute,kind and caring.

Nag-enjoy na akong panoorin sila and without noticing,nag bell na pala at natapos narin lahat ng kanta nila. Tumayo lang ako and I clapped. They're really awesome! Nakita ko si Zyro approached towards me.
"Did you like it?" He said excitedly.
"Very much! Youre really great Zyro!" I answered
"Haha. Thank you!"
"So Zyro, thank you for entertaining ha. Pupunta na ako sa next class ko so I'll catch you up soon" I explained then I bid goodbye to him.

Mabilis rin namang natapos ang third class na yun and to be honest, its really diffucult. Geometry pa naman. Kahit ata yung pinaka genius na tao ay mahihirapan din. But still, its a good class and I meet again new friends, Zera and Mira Gonzales, the identical twins. Theyre both kind and gorgeous.

Kailangan ko nalang pumunta sa last period ko which is my chemistry class. Doon din lang yun sa first building,third room. Im still hoping na hindi na ulit iyon magulong klase. Nakakapagod kasi. Naglakad na ako papuntang first building and just after a few minutes, nakarating narin ako, so this is it! Goodluck to me. Pumasok na ako sa loob and guess...ughh!Nakakabingi!
Nakakabingi sa katahimikan. Its really far from what I expected. Mabait naman ata silang lahat. So ayun,binigyan na nila ako ng laboratory PPE with my name tag on it. Humanap na ako ng mauupuan and I spotted yung desk na malapit sa window. Hmm, I think thats a good spot.
Pumunta na ako and I was just about to sit pero may nauna sa akin na lalake.

"A-ahh, excuse me. This is my desk..."nahihiya kong sabi
"WHO CARES!" He replied with an annoyed face and a serious tone.
Geez.Ang sungit niya. How can I deal with him?

"Well, I care..." I insisted
"You know youre really annoying! Just find another desk and get out of my way! DAMN IT!" He said loudly at ramdam talaga sa boses niya ang pagkainis.
Pinagtinginan tuloy kami ng ibang classmates namin. Umalis nalang ako. Nakakatakot talaga siya kung makapag-demand. Galit ba siya sa akin? Hmmp! No choice. Find another one daw.SUNGIT! Who is that guy???
