//February 22, 2030. Local Prison, 9:00 AM//

Everybody was outside the prison by nine. I looked around at the members of the group, hoping somebody would come up with something to say.

"What are we going to start off with?" Celosia eventually asked.

X's laptop beeped. "Answering whatever this is," X declared, opening it up and typing at it just as fast (if not faster) than Q. You'd think he was some ultimate computer programmer...

"Have I been degraded to a whatever? I'm rather insulted, you know, X."

"You again?" Celosia groaned. "Why do you keep calling us out like this? I'd like you to stop, if it would be at all possible."

"Just a reminder about what I told you yesterday. Today, tomorrow, and the day after, because at nine AM on the 25th, there's a slight chance that everything will go boom," L told us.

"Why are you doing this?!" Drew yelled.

"I need attention! Didn't I tell you this yesterday? I really thought I did... Either I'm forgetful or you are. Maybe I should start talking to other people who don't care if the city blows up because of your incompetence at doing your extremely necessary and serious job," L monologued, not at all caring that none of us were listening.

"Are you done?" F asked, sighing irritably.

"Fine. Just tell me what you've found out about the Kuranin as of yet," L told us.

"We think the Kuranin leader is a prison escapee by the name of Pierre Giuseppe," I told L.

"Hm... Do you think anybody helped him escape?"

"We think so, but we don't know who it is yet," Drew frowned. "We didn't get that far during yesterday's investigation."

"In that case, I'll leave you all to it so that you can find the little idiot who helped that guy out of prison. Ciao from L!"

And the line went dead.

"I guess that's where we're staring out," F said after a brief pause.

I nodded. "Let's get to it. We don't have much time to solve the mystery of the Kuranin before this 'L' person blows up the city. X?"

"Yes?" X asked, stepping towards me.

"Did you look into Interpol's agent L?" I asked him.

X nodded. "I did, as a matter of fact. If you want me to, I could call D to bring her down here so we could question her on the matter of the Kuranin. For all we know, she could be involved with that mystery caller."

"Go right ahead," I instructed of him. X began clicking away at his laptop after sitting on the top step of the staircase leading to the prison's door. That kid is too bonded to that computer when he could easily just use a phone...

We were only waiting for about two minutes before X closed his laptop screen and looked up at us. "Okay. L's on her way," X told us.

"Escorts?" I asked.

"T and J. D was too busy with the breakout to concern herself with an escort," X said.

"I guess we can prepare to hear a lot of babble about the Kuranin being a serial killer to some extent if J's going to be here," F murmured, shaking her head.

"Who are J and T?" Milan piped in, her eyes wide and wondering.

J (Clare Foxe) and T (Lapis O'Malley) were some of the other agents at Interpol. Meanwhile, Charlotte Rey was L, and our suspect of being a member of the Kuranin as of now. Hopefully they would be arriving shortly...

As if on cue, the three agents arrived. J stepped out of the black limo that had been driving them there. Her skin was tanned and went well with her dark brown eyes, which matched the color of her bangs. The rest of her hair (with the exception of two red twists in the front) was dark auburn and tied up into a ponytail. She wore a white bodysuit over an orange shirt with a dark yellow belt. It was like staring into the sun...

T was the exact opposite. Her hair was all blue (with turquoise sections falling over her shoulders) and held back in a long ponytail brimming with curl. Her eyes were the color of the ocean, and were rather soothing despite her playful nature. She wore a white shirt under a navy blue sailor type collar, which had violet highlights on it and a green ribbon on the bottom. She wore a blue skirt trimmed with green over white tights with black boots.

And finally, there was the person they were yanking from the limo. L had her blonde hair short in a pixie cut and her dandelion eyes were fierce as usual. She wore a pale blue jacket zipped up with skin tight black leggings and boots of the same shade. A few freckles dotted her complexion.

"There you three are," X announced, approaching the trio.

"I didn't do it!" L shouted. "I'm not even involved in the Kuranin investigation! Honest!"

My glare silenced her. "We'll see about that after the questioning, okay?" I asked her, knowing well that my sharpening gaze was piercing holes in her confidence. As it should.

L groaned. "Why are you even doing this? You should be tracing the location of where that video call is from, not the things I do!"

"Can we even trace that?" Drew asked with wide eyes.

"Yeah. I'm part of Q's squad of underlings. I would be an idiot not to know how to do that," L bragged with a prideful smirk.

"If you're done," I cut in. "I think that we would like you to give us an alibi for when we've been getting the chats from this mysterious 'L'."

"The evidence against you is pretty strong," X commented. "We know that our mysterious caller is a female, goes by L, and has some sort of link to the Kuranin. Two out of those three can be proven against you easily."

"Then allow me to show that all of that has no connection to me nor if I associate with the Kuranin," L began, her pride beginning to get the better of her. I hope she doesn't screw us up with her ego...
