A big man was holding my arms and dragging me around this really big building. I hadn't been able to stop crying. I always cried when I was scared, and I was nothing but scared right then. "W-where are you taking me?! I want to go home!!" I wailed pitifully.

The man shoved me into a dark room with only one chair in it. He locked the door after he came through and shoved me onto the chair. "Sit," he said sternly.

Afraid to oppose him, I sat still as he pulled out a rope and tied my top half to the chair tightly. I occasionally let out a fearful screech, wanting him to go away. He never did, no matter how loud I yelled.

After a while, the man walked out, leaving me all alone. I wanted to rub my eyes so that I wouldn't cry as much, but I couldn't help it. My arms were being held down by the really sturdy rope.

Soon, the man appeared again. He had a camera in hand. He propped it up on a camera stand thing and crossed the room to me. The man slipped a gag around my mouth. I realized that his hair was a strawberry blonde color, which I made sure to remember so we could track him down later.

"Don't talk or anything like that, got it?" he snarled. His breath smelled terrible, so I nodded violently. I was willing to do anything to get him out of my face.

The man made his way over to the camera and hit the record button on the top. I watched him with fearful eyes. He crouched in front of the camera. "Interpol," he announced. "I assume that you've realized that we, the Kuranin, have taken hostages. Kotoko Minami, Felix Griffin, Clarith Blake, and Celosia Quell are here with us. Don't try to save them, because we will not hesitate in killing these pesky flies if you do."

I struggled against my bounds, wanting more than anything to get away from him. He was insane!! I wanted to go home with Miss Kirigiri!!

The man walked to me and pulled out a knife. He placed it gently on my throat, making my body go tense and still. "We won't hesitate to do anything criminal, so I suggest that you leave them alone if you ever want to see them again."

The man eventually left. He pulled the knife away from my neck and walked to the camera, where he turned it off. He grabbed the camera in one hand and the stand in the other. The man shot me a stern glare that pierced my soul before stalking out.

I looked down. I was breathing heavily in my panic, so I felt rather light headed. I shook my head in a rapid fashion, which made the gag fall from my mouth. I took in a deep breath. I didn't realize how handy breathing was until I couldn't do it!

I started wriggling in my chair, hoping that I would find someway of escaping. It was no use, I soon discovered. There was no way I was going to get out with the ropes tied so tightly. I hated being helpless and hopeless like this! I feel like a little kid, and I hate it when people treat me that way!

A man with dark hair appeared in the doorway soon after. He untied me silently. I gasped in shock as the ropes fell to the floor. Was I really getting away?! This was great! I could go home and see Fee-Fee and Mr. Q and Miss Kirigiri and-

The new man tied the ropes around my hands, making all happy thoughts that had previously danced in my mind vanish. I felt like I wanted to cry. I can't believe I thought I was going to get out! I should have known better!

The man pushed me through the hallways of the big building until we came across a room with three other people in it. I could only see the outlines of the people, though. It was too dark to see much other than just the outlines.

"Stay here, you little brats," the man growled. He pulled the rope from my arms and stomped from the room.

I felt like one of the outlines was familiar, so I walked closer. "Fee-Fee...?!" I whispered.

Fee-Fee gasped. "Kotoko...!" I felt him wrap his arms around me, so I sunk into his arms. I felt better when somebody I knew was nearby. I hated being all alone without anybody I knew...

"Are you okay?!" I cried, forgetting all about his sensitivity to loud noises.

Fee-Fee let out a scream and hugged me tighter out of fear. "D-don't scare me like that...!" he said.

"S-sorry, Fee-Fee..." I mumbled, hugging him tighter. I hoped that the hugs would make up for the fact that I had scared him out of his mind. I didn't like it when he was scared like that... He didn't deserve it...

"Are you two done moping?"

I turned to see one of the other people in the cell with her arms crossed. She glared at us angrily. "You're bringing down the atmosphere from moping to full on tragic," the girl said.

"Don't be so mean, Celosia," Fee-Fee told her with a frown.

Celosia rolled her eyes. "Fine..." Celosia muttered angrily.

"A-are we going home soon?!"

I looked to the final person in the cell, who was curled up in a little ball. Her hair was bright white, so I remembered that her name was Clarith. Everybody had been talking about her at Interpol, so I knew her name pretty well.

"It'll probably take a while," Celosia frowned. "Mainly since no legal figures have shown up."

I gulped nervously. I hoped that Interpol hadn't forgotten about us... I didn't want to lose anybody else... I didn't think I could handle it...
