Chapter Fifty Nine

Lloyd's POV

It's been a week na hindi ko na nakikita si Isabelle. Lahat tawag ang ginagawa ko sa mga kaibigan niya upang kamustahin kung nahanap na nila si Isabelle.

But the worst was, I am engage to Janelle! She planned all of this. Sinundan niya pala ako sa Palawan because I am her fiancé.

I don't care about Janelle! I care for Isabelle. Si Isabelle ang mahal ko at siya lang ang babaeng gusto kong pakasalan. Next month na ang kasal namin ni Janelle, masyadong minadali ng mga parents namin ang kasal para daw ma settle na lahat ng mga kailangan.

I want to find Isabelle. She's my only happiness.

Bumalik ako sa Palawan and hired an investigator tungkol sa pagkawala ni Isabelle. I hate myself from being such a useless boyfriend!

Kapag nalaman ni Isabelle na ikakasal na ako, hindi ko alam kung ano ang mangyayari. Maybe she would give up and that's the very thing I will hate myself so much. I only want her and not anybody.

"Lloyd, we already planned one thing. We will go back to China. The place of the Blue Dragon Mafia and search for her. We can't do anything by just staying here, waiting for her to come back. We have to make a move." Tumango ako sa sinabi ni Daisy. I will go with them.

"I'm in." Sabi ko, tapos tumango sila. I will go back again to Manila para i-settle ang passport ko.

"We'll all go to China the day after tomorrow. I want to prepare my passport and myself as well." Sabi ko.

"Our weapons are good. And we have to take it first at home." Sabi ni Margoe. Eric and Harrold just nodded.

"So we all have to go to Manila and take a flight there."

Nilisan namin ang Palawan ngayong hapon at nagbyahe pabalik ng Maynila. When I got home, my Dad punched me.

"I told you that stay away from that Lorenzo, Lloyd!" Halatang galit na galit si Dad sa'kin kasi tinawag na niya ako sa pangalan ko at nanginginig na rin siya sa galit.

"She's away and I don't any have an idea where to find her Dad! mahal ko siya at siya lang ang pakakasalan ko!" Hindi ko na napigilang hindi sagutin si Dad. He looked so disappointed. Susuntukin niya ulit sana ako nang hawakan ni Mom ang kamay niya.

"Stop it hon, calm down. Wala na sina Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo, they both died already. Why don't you accept Isabelle? hindi kasalanan ng bata ang kasalanan ng mga magulang niya." Mom said comforting Dad.

"But she's a Lorenzo, I don't want any Lorenzo in the family. Kailan man ay hindi ko siya matatanggap. That's my final decision and no one should disobey it!" Umalis si Dad sa harapan namin ni Mom. Mom sighed heavily and hugged me tight.

"Don't worry son, if you and Isabelle are really meant for each other, no one can stop you. You'll be together in the end. Kahit magkahiwalay pa kayo ng matagal, kayo parin ang magkakatuluyan sa huli." Sabi ni Mom habang hinahagod ang likod ko.

"Pero Mom, mahal ko siya. I don't want to be far from her, ayokong makasal sa iba. Mas lalong malalayo sa'kin si Isabelle. I don't really know what to do anymore! I feel so useless Mom. Nawawala si Isabelle and I want to help find her. I want to see her." Sabi ko. Mom smiled.

"Anak, alam kong mahal ka ni Isabelle. At nakikita ko rin sa'yo na mahal na mahal mo siya. It's better to wait. Maybe this isn't just the right time for the two of you. Love lasts longer when you know how to wait. I know you can do that. You're still young at marami pang magagandang bagay ang mangyayari sa inyo. Just stay positive and think for the better."
