Interval Chapter: Shining Hope

Angelo’s POV

                         Nararamdaman ko kung nasaan si Ems. Di ko alam kung bakit ganun. Pero dapat puntahan ko siya. Napakaaga naman niyang umalis. He should’ve told me where he will go. Or maybe he just wants some privacy. Dumaan na rin ako sa kanila. Tama nga ako, papunta siyang airport. But why? Sumakay na lang ako ng taxi.

                         Napakadaming tao sa airport. Wala akong problema if may makita akong nakakakilala sakin since they wont recognize me dahil sa effect of my mission. I scanned the whole area. I can feel him at the left. Yes, nakita ko siya papuntang stairs. As I turn left, nabangga ko yung isang babae.

                        “Oh, I’m sorry. I’m really sorry.”  What??? Why is she staring at me?

                        “Miss, are you okay? Heyyy??”  tinititigan pa rin niya ko. Actually, I’m really getting conscious.

                        “Miss, I’m sorry. Will you please excuse me now cause I need to go?”   humakbang na ko paalis pero hinawakan niya ko sa braso.

                         “Haha! I’m so lucky! No . You’re Angelo right? Angelo del Valle. Nice to met you, I’m Sassy.”  She lend her hand.. Sino ba siya? Bakit niya ko kilala? I look at the stairs to check if Ems is still there. Nandon pa naman siya.

                      “Hey? How come you know me? I mean.. ”  nag shake hands na kami. Why does it seems like she’s seeing my soul? Tagos yung titig niya.

                       “Pinadala ako ni Ms.Illustre dito, your Tita to check if you’re okay. Nakarating kasi yung balitang you’re dead. But I now know it’s just a rumor. And I’m here to get you. Pinapapunta ka ni Tita mo sa States to continue your life there.”

                      What??? No. I don’t even want to be recognized by anyone or met someone na may kaugnayan sa buhay ko. Kailan pa nagkaron ng concern si Tita sakin. She left me too.

                      “Ahmm.. Sassy, Thank you for the effort of coming all the way here pero hindi ako sasama sayo. I’m sorry. I need to go now.”  Nilingon ko yung lugar ni ems. Wala na siya dun?!!

                 Nagulat ako kasi hinawakan ulit ako ng babae.

       “No! I promised Tita Illustre to came home with you.”

                    Naiinis na ko sa babaeng to.

                       “Miss Sassa or Sasha or whatever, let go of me. I have something to do.” At madali naman akong nakaalis sa hawak niya. I rushingly ran palabas ng airport. Nakita kong sumakay si Ems at yung isang lalake sa taxi. Mabilis namang umalis yung taxi.

                  “This is all that girl’s fault.”  Habang sinusundan ko palayo yung taxi. I look at my left and saw people crossing the lane. What caught my attention was this happy family. Hawak ng Mom and Dad sa magkabilang kamay yung little boy and happily swaying they’re hands. In the blink of an eye, the flashback starts to play..

                     “Davis, do you like our gift?”  naglalakad kami ni Mom and Dad palabas ng mall. Hawak hawak ko yung Iron man figure.
