Katy's POV:

During the week mom and Caroline had become best friends to say the least. And today we were invited to dinner at the Smiths'. Guess who's gonna have to suffer unwanted rude company? ME! Yes that's true.

Right now I'm getting dressed. My white high waisted skirt was perfect with my minty green top and curly hair. I went for the natural makeup look as usual cause I hate when girls cake their faces up with that.

Minutes later I was ready to go. Mom called out for me so I made my way down the stairs. At the door she stood with dad both dressed up and waiting for me. Walking quicker down the stairs I reached them and we walked out the house all together.

Walking next door we stood waiting for the door to open. Caroline greeted us with that warm smile she's gifted.

"Good evening, c'mon in"

We made our way inside the cost house which had been neatly arranged since the first day where boxes of all size were laying all around. Caroline lead us into the salon as she went to call for Luke. Why does he have to be here?

Like can't he go sleep over at someone's or something? I know it's his house but he is so annoying. Oh look, the devil's son is coming down the stairs. He greeted my parents with shake of hands, he then just nodded his head at me, flashing me this completely fake toothy smile, which most likely is just there to please his mother.

Luke's mother called us all into the dining room area of the house. Where a wooden table dressed in a baby blue cloth stood, surrounded by wooden chairs and which had been decorated with pretty pink and white flowers.

We all sat down to enjoy the amazing smelling food which had been placed on the table moments ago. And obviously I was sat next to Luke. But during dinner the small chatter had to be cut off by dad's phone. Seconds later had he stood up, apologized and left, habitued to it by now and fully knowing his job was annoying I continued eating my mashed potatoes.

Later that evening mom and Caroline were taking the dishes into the kitchen to wash, while I was sent off with Luke to his room to 'have fun'. Like we're gonna do anything but try ways of killing one other in our heads.

As he opened the door I stood frozen not expecting the sight in front of me. His room was neat, on his desk lays a computer along with a camera on its tripod, the bed was perfectly made, in the corner next to the dresser was a guitar on its stand.

Walking into the room I made my way over to it. Grabbing the soft material in my hands I brought it up asking. "You play?" Without even looking at him.

"What do you think? I've bought one for decorating my corner?" Sarcasm spilled off his tongue as each word slipped out.

Was he born with mean attitude in his god damn blood or something?!

"Yes I am."

Did I just say that out loud?

"Oh no I can read thoughts. I would suggest you keep your mouth shut and sit somewhere away from things that you can break."

Getting my face up his, I spat
"Oh fuck you. I ain't sitting here and taking your ducking shit okay! You can either start respecting me this damn second or"

"Or what babycakes? You're gonna go crying down to your mommy? Then do"
He replied.

"No I'm gonna do this"

Not having registered my actions all I felt was my hand being grabbed inches away from his face. His face was so close to mine as his eyes were filled with fire that my blood turned ice in my veins.

"Don't ever try that again sweetheart. Unless you wanna regret it."
