Chapter40

3rd Person's POV:

Somehow Luke and Katy managed to get everything they wanted on the bike and took off once again in the direction of the tree house. Now they are fitting everything in, making it their cozy little house. The inside was amazingly decorated until now.

The windows were covered with pretty white lace curtains, they had a honey carpet. In the middle of the room, sat a wooden table, on it lays a lace cloth surrounded by two chairs. They built a small library, but unlike Paule and Edward, the pair didn't like books. So they filled it with their favorite music albums instead, and yes Coldplay's ones were at the very top.

They threw pillows, blankets and even more pillows in a corner, making it as cosy as humanly possible. The two big bears were also sitting in that corner. As Katy placed the last bear in place, their tree house was completed.

She was getting up when Luke took hold of her waist, lifting her up in the air and spinning her around. When he put her back down, she turned to look at him and they shared a moment of silent joy. A moment that no one could ruin. Except Katy's annoying phone ringing.

It was her mother calling, she looked at the lock realizing she should have been home an hour ago. Which meant her mother had been scared to death by her not coming nor calling. She quickly answered the phone knowing if she didn't then her mom would most likely send the hole police looking after her, thinking that her beloved child was kidnapped.

"Hey mom, I'm sorry I didn't see the time I was with a friend-"

"You could have at least texted me! You have a phone glued to your hands all day long and when the time to actually use it comes you don't. Are you serious. You know well enough this is totally not an excuse!"

"I get it, I'm sorry okay. Stop yelling at me all I did was forget to message you. I'm alive okay, I get that you were worried but It was only an hour. Plus am an eighteen years old woman. But anyways. Did you need anything?"

"No not that I can think of. Oh wait, around when will you be back home?"

"I don't know mom, but I do know I'll be there before dinner."

"Good. See you kiddo"

"Bye mom"

Katy hung up and turned again to face Luke one more time. As she did, he spoke. "Katy, will you go on a date with me tonight?"

She could not believe her ears, did he just ask her out? "I would love to Luke" she spoke out, before hugging him and changing her plans of staying to going home and getting ready. "Can you drop me off at home?" She asked remembering that they came on his bike not her car.

"Of course." He answered and both climbed down their wooden stairs then sat on the bike, making sure to not forget the helmets. Katy was as excited as could be. Upon their arrive, she bid him goodbye and started running to her door. Only was it when she got in that she remembered, Luke didn't tell her how to dress.

Katy quickly runs to her bedroom, jumping over a chair, under hangers which somehow ended up dangling from her celling. She finally flipped on her bed, caught her phone and started typing away. 'Lukey, should I wear formal  or casual?'

Seconds later her phone beeped, ' formal'

Well now I've got to find a dress. She said to herself as she went to her closet. Katy spent half an hour, looking at her dresses until she narrowed down her choice to two dresses. A Burgundy one with a little white belt in the center and a strapless navy blue one. (A/N: pics up in the bar)

She put both dresses on her bed, laid by their ends a pair of white high heels and ran into her bathroom to shower. She then proceeded to straiten her hair and apply make up. Standing in front of the dresses, her choice had to be made.

She tried both on a couple times, changing in and out of each dress about twenty times, and yet she couldn't make her choice. She was a step away from shooting herself when she called her mom in. Explained everything to her and left the older one to make the choice.

Katy finally got dressed, added some jewels on and picked up her phone just as the door bell rang. She made her way downstairs in her Burgundy dress, Luke, was waiting at the door, a bouquet of red roses in hand, his jaw dropped at her sight. Oh well what can you say, she did look amazing.
