3rd person's POV:Paule and Edward spent the night all around the city, and finished it by a lake where he had asked her to be his girlfriend under the moonlight and after both sat down, looking at the stars making up a story. Of course she said yes.
Now, Paule was in class, later she was going with her mother and soon to be mother in law to get her wedding dress which had still not been picked out. But today was different, she was only going to one store and her mother was going to choose the dress. Paule could care less. She had taken her choice and was against marrying Lincoln who still took her out just to show off he had money.
Katy, was depressing and it was only day two of being separated from Luke. The thing was, as the world got to know she was his girl, hate had started to be sent to her, and having no best friend to her side nor boyfriend, she was starting to shut down as she was never good at dealing with things of this kind.
Paule and Katy were so close, now it's close to being a month and a half since they last spoke. The two were missing a part of themselves, but neither could find the other. At the end of the day, Paule's mother came to pick her up. Lincoln's was sitting next to her so Paule sat at the back. Their trip to the mall was short, but the soon to be bride busied herself with a book to escape any conversation with the pair of devils sitting in front of her.
They walked into the store and were out in the blink of an eye. Paule had imagined her wedding dress as a strapless one, pretty much like a Disney Princess one. But the one she was sent out with wasn't anywhere close to that. It was a lace dress yes, but, it was just boring to her, overly conservative with long sleeves and a high neck. She hated it's bottom even more as it wasn't anywhere near poofy as she dreamed. No it was just sitting there, centimeters away from her thighs.
Paule was then driven to Lincoln who took her out to dinner at a different restaurant once again. And once again, she hated it.
Katy, was sitting at home, in front of her laptop screen reading each and every single hate comment she received on Twitter and Facebook from Luke's fans. She was torturing herself yes. But it seemed like she was glued on spot. Tears were falling freely down her face. She hugged the big bear that Luke won her close as she cried.
At night, The two girls sat in their rooms, tear stained cheeks, one was being destroyed the other forced into living unhappily for life. Both knew joy at a time, but also got hurt by it. As the tears were racing down their faces, they both cried themselves to sleep. Just wanting to dream of a place where their souls were happy, a place where no one could destroy the perfect moments they wanted so bad.
~it's a day till Paule's wedding~
Luke came home, hoping to surprise Katy since he missed her so much. He ran into her room through the window after climbing up the tree next to it. He was so happy to see her. But when his eyes landed on her, his smile broke into a frown as his heart ached in pain. She was laying motionless on her bed, face in a tear stained pillow, it was only a week since he had gone and she was half the size she had been.
In the corner of her bed, he saw a lightened screen. He ran over to it picking it up, as his eyes read over the words, he came to realize the truth that had become. He sat next to her on the bed, helplessly stroking her hair, waiting, waiting for a miracle. And there it came. He knew how to make his loved one feel better. Or at least give her some confidence. "Come with me baby, I've got to show you something." He said, tugging her to come.
After half an hour of begging, she willingly followed him into his bedroom. (A/N: yes he got her to climb down the tree and walk all the way to his house now i most likely ruined this moment for you, but continue) There he stood in front of his body length mirror, his hand pulled out for hers to take but she was too afraid to look in the mirror. All what had been told to her took its effect and the girl who once was bright was now scared of her own reflection.
