Paule's POV:
The shopping had finally come to its' end, and somehow it had become 7pm and I was fully dressed. At 7:05 sharp, the bell rings and there stands the one and only Lincoln Pierce.
I look at him feeling nauseous at the idea of having to wake up to that everyday for the rest of my life starting my 18th birthday. Sighing to myself, I walk over to him.
"Sweet evening Ms Paule"
"Evening, Mr Pierce."
"Shall we start our night?" He asks holding out his arm for me to grab. Which I do seeing as my parents appeared behind me.
"We shall" I concluded not a big of enthusiasm in my voice.
"Mr, Mrs Hage" he quickly bid them a goodbye before we were off. I sat in his car, as we drove in silence to a restaurant. Which did also not come across my favorites. It was one of those which only stuck up people go to. Those places where everyone was dressed up so much it hurt, then they wouldn't eat half of their already barely filled plates.
I hated this, I hated all of this. Hated how this was so fake. How all of this seemed planned. Hated the slow song playing in the background. Hated the way Lincoln held my hand. Hated the way I had to look at him the hole night. Hated how I had no control over anything.
The night didn't last long. He had just planned dinner. Nothing else. No creativity. Just the known and done by everyone. I was taken home after dinner during which he just bragged to me about his company and his wealthy family.
As we arrived he walked me back up. "It was an amazing evening Paule, hope we could have another one sometime, goodnight" he finished with a kiss of my hand.
"Good night" I whispered barely audible but he did hear it. Since after it was said, he went back to his car as I opened the door. I quickly walked back up to my room where the door had been repaired.
I shut it and locked it. Getting rid of my clothes, showering and cleaning up my makeup caked face, I put on a pair of pajamas and brushed my hair getting it back to its natural curls. I was finally able to breath. I was back to normal.
A seventeen girl, far from the fake I was colored into being minutes ago. I opened up my laptop and called Edward. On the fifth ring when I was about to hang up he picked up.
"Hey idiot, you're still alive congrats, so how terrible was it?" he said.
"Hi... I hated it... He just took me to dinner, where he just kept on talking about his company and how rich he is. The place was filled with fake people. Faking all their personalities. Faking everything about them. I hated it. Then we went home where he replied the oh so used word that everybody uses. I hate how fake he is. I dot want to live with that." I said failing at keeping my tears in I jut kept on sobbing.
"Hey hey, it's gonna be alright okay? Trust me. Now just cry, let it all out. But remember, you're allowed to cry over this once, cry as much as you want but be sure that you'll never waste your time crying over the same thing again. Understood?"
I nod my head. "W-when will I-I ever-r be a-abl-e to meet-t you in real-l ed? I-I want-t to meet you-u" I manage to get through my tears.
"I'm sorry but we can't meet now, maybe soon, but not now."
"Okay" I whisper.
"C'mon get into bed, I'll tell you a story and you can go sleep, it's getting late."
I nod my head, and turn off the nights then make my way to bed. I set the laptop next to me and get under the covers. That's when Edward's voice fills my room.
"Once upon a time, in a small cute house, lived a girl alongside her mother and father. They loved her and she did them. She was their princess, and she ruled their tiny kingdom. The girl had the kindest heart of them all, the biggest of courage and the beauty of an angel. On her seventeenth birthday, she was gifted a white horse. Which she never put ties on. She believed that animals could understand us meaning she didn't need anything but the horse's pretty hair to hold on as it took her trotting around the small forest near their house. There she met the King of their kingdom. He fell in love with her beauty not just the beauty of her face, but the pretty heart that laid inside of her. Days later they married and lived their happy ever after"
3rd Person's POV:
"She's so lucky to be loved back" Paule mumbled already half asleep.
"Have courage and never stop being kind Paule, only time will tell what a deep heart felt and one day all will fall apart but make perfect sense" and with those words spoken he logged off and her batterie died turning off her screen and leaving her to dream of a better tomorrow.
