Talia's POV

Everything was so perfect now: everyone knew. Well almost everyone... Leah's friends and parents, and my parents. Our parents took it so well. I'm so relieved about that. Because I certainly didn't expect that.

I mean Leah's parents could've easily reported me, get me fired, take Leah away from me... But they didn't. They were shocked, of course. But they listened. And that's more then I could've asked for.

And so I explained them our story, my side of the story. I told them from the start with Cam and Leah's break up, our connection, our meetings, our first date, us living together and eventually me proposing to their daughter. They were very shocked to say the least, but also very happy in some way. And during dinner, Leah's dad told me that it was because they were happy for their daughter but also because I had the courage to tell them in person. It's just what's normal to do, in my opinion.

Anyway, after our dinner our parents left and, Leah and me finally could sigh in relieve. We both layed onto the couch, Leah on top of me, in my arms. We just layed there in comfortable silence.

Suddenly Leah sat up, looking at me. "You are so amazing, do you know that?"

I smiled. "You are better."

Leah giggled. "It's not a competition, baby."

I smiled and pulled her closer. "You'd win it anyway."

Leah pushed me playfully. "No, you would."

"We both would." I said and kissed her deeply, holding her close. We started kissing more and more and more.

Suddenly Leah pulled back, looking me deep in the eyes. "I love you so much, T."

I smiled and felt a warmth in my heart, the way Leah was looking at me right now felt so special: her eyes full of love. "I love you too, Leah." I said, putting some hair behind her ear. "With my heart and soul."

Leah smiled and layed back down onto my chest, holding on tight to me.

We stayed like that the whole evening. At some point, she fell asleep. I smiled and decided it was time to go to bed.

I turned off the tv and pulled her up. I walked, carrying her upstairs.

I slowly put her in bed and took off her clothes. I slowly put the bed sheets on her and got undressed too.

I carefully got in bed next to her and saw her sleeping peacefully. I pulled her closer and felt her holding me tight, like she always does.

I smiled and slowly turned off the lights. I kissed her head soft. "Good night, baby." I whispered and closed my eyes, sighing happy. This dinner made me so happy.

The next day, it was time for another school day. Leah and me had our normal routine, which we both enjoyed a lot, and then went to school.

I parked at our spot and looked at her, smiling big.

"You're very happy today." Leah said, smiling.

I nodded.

"Because of yesterday?"

I nodded. "It couldn't have gone better. It was perfect."

She smiled big and nodded. "I'm so relieved that mom and dad know about us. I feel so relieved and free."

I nodded. "I know what you mean."

Leah looked at me, something was bothering her.

"What?"

She sighed deep. "Baby, I've told my friends and parents." she started to which I groaned and looked away, I knew what she was going to say next. "Why aren't you telling your friends? They're not going to murder you."

I sighed deep. "I already told you, it's not going to happen."

"Why not?" she asked, raising her voice. "Just tell them."

"It's not that easy, Leah!" I said, raising my voice. "You don't know what it is like for me."

"And you don't know what it is like for me! I know it's scary. I really do."

I groaned. "No, you don't! I could lose my job, I could go to jail!"

Leah looked shocked. "Well then you don't have good friends." she said as she got out of the car and walked to school.

I groaned and looked away, taking a moment before driving to school and parking in the parking lot. I got out and walked to my classroom.

I put my bag down and got everything ready for the day.

"Good morning, Talia."

I looked up and saw my friends, all sitting on nearby desks. "Good morning." I said and sighed deep, I was still upset because of the fight with Leah. Yesterday everything was fine, why is she so focused on me telling my friends?

"Talia?"

"Hmm?" I asked and looked at them. "What?"

"Hey, what's wrong?" Heather asked, she was worried, I could tell.

I sighed deep again. "Nothing."

"Uhm, we can see something's bothering you." Charlotte said to which Heather and Mary nodded.

"We can help you, if you talk to us." Mary said.

I went to sit onto my desk. "I just... I had a fight with my girlfriend."

"You mean the non-existing girlfriend?" Heather asked, drinking from her coffee.

I rolled my eyes. "She does exist, but we had a fight and now I'm sad and angry too."

"What was the fight about? Maybe you just have to apologize." Mary said. "If she really exists that is."

"She does exist, and no, I won't solve this by saying that I'm sorry." I said, burying my face in my hands. "I'm scared." I suddenly said.

"What for?" Charlotte asked.

I looked at them before looking down. "She wants me to tell you all everything. But I can't do that."

"Why not?" Heather asked. "Finally we'll be able to see her."

"I can't do that."

"Why not? She just wants to meet us, no big deal." Charlotte said. "Don't worry so much."

"You'd be worried if you'd know her!" I shouted, I was so fed up with everything, I lost it.

"Hey, calm down, it's fine." Heather said, trying to comfort me.

"Just go, I need time to get ready for the day." I said, opening the door.

"Come on." Heather said.

"No, just go." And so they all left. I closed the door and leaned against it, sighing deep. Why does everything have to be so hard?
