Leah's POV
And so T's friends accepted me, just like that. Which I think was very strange, and unexpected. Especially for Heather.
They stayed the whole evening. They stayed for dinner, we had pizzas, and talked to us. I actually really felt like I was a part of their friend group.
We had so much fun! T and me shared a pizza and I felt so happy when we got to share in front of her friends. I felt like we had a free and open relationship.
T and me shared everything, from food to drinks. T also held me close all evening long, I sat on her lap most of the time.
We were really having a good time, they felt like my friends, not my teachers. It was as if they were my friends for years already, it felt truly amazing. Even Heather was trying, she was smiling and laughing alongside us. I really appreciate her trying.
At some point, I got of T's lap. "Hey baby, where are you going?" T asked, holding my hand.
I smiled. "I'm going to the bathroom, I'll be right back."
T nodded and let go of my hand.
I walked to the bathroom and did what I had to do. When I was done, I washed my hands, dried them and opened the door. That's when I gasped. "Heather, you scared me."
She smiled, but it quickly changed into a dirty look.
"W-what's wrong?" I asked, gulping.
She came closer, invading my personal space. "Hey Leah, what's wrong?"
I gulped again. "Uhm... I was just going back downstairs."
Heather shook her head no. "You're not. I'm not done here."
"W-what?" I gulped, backing away, she was freaking me out. "W-what's wrong?"
She just walked to me, closing me against the wall. "I want to talk about you."
"A-about me?"
Heather nodded.
"L-like what?"
She looked me deep in the eyes. "I don't like you being here."
I rolled my eyes. "T and me are very happy. We're engaged and we're going to get married. You should be happy for her. You're not even trying."
"I don't want to try. You're not good enough for her, you're nowhere near good enough." she said, coming way to close to me. Out of reflex, I put a hand in between us. Heather laughed humorless. "You really think I'd come any closer to you? Oh my God, you're so full of yourself!"
"I'm not! You just have to accept that T's mine. Mine!"
Heather really didn't like that and pushed me against the wall. "Stop it!" I said and pushed her away too.
She became even more angry and launched at me but I ducked away and moved passed her. I hurried out of the bathroom and ran towards the stairs.
But suddenly felt someone grab my arm. I turned around and saw Heather. She pulled me closer. "I wasn't done with you yet." she said through gritted teeth.
"You're hurting me." I said, she really was. She was grabbing me so hard.
"To bad." she said, grabbing harder. "Listen to me, I'll give you a choice."
I was still trying to break free from her grip.
"Hey! Listen to me!" she said, taking my chin, making me look at her. "You either leave Talia be with someone good, or you stay with her but she'll lose me as a friend."
