26.My Son, a Lion. Shocking

The next morning, I woke up in the damp, musty attic. My parents had left various kinds of food for me to eat. I ate the hamburger and the melon, but I left the broccoli alone. I checked to see if I had fully changed back and luckily I had; so I pounded on the floor and my father came up. “Yes son?” he asked as his head appeared.

“You're the best!” I replied as I gave him a huge lion hug.

“Who would have thought that my son was a lion?” he laughed.

I purred and he left, still laughing his head off. He closed the attic again and I sat there all alone. As I sat there, I tried to think of ways to get rid of the collar; but I sadly couldn't.

I laid down to take a nap; but when I was about asleep, I got shocked. I yelled from the pain and the shocks kept coming. I heard footsteps come running, but they stopped as I called out in pain; then I heard my dad and mom talking. I wished they could do something, but I knew why they couldn't; so I had to bear the pain. I quickly turned into a lion and I tried to fall asleep; but with all the shocking, I couldn't sleep.
