51.Me for Sale? Think Not

I put Tigger in his stall before waiting at the entrance for John. He soon came running up and was short of breath, but he greeted, “Hello James.”

“Hello John, I have been thinking about the interview before I was changed. You know, when they hooked me to that machine. Do you think we could invent a collar that does that?” I asked happy of my idea.

“That is a great idea, but I think it would be better to find the machine,” John replied cheerfully. “Oh, you need to go into a stall or to your room because the people are coming soon for King.”

“Okay. Lock me in a stall,” I agreed as I walked into a stall.

“Are you sure that you don't want to be in the house?” he asked as he locked the stall and he seemed worried.

“Positive, John. I'm a lion and lions shouldn't be in the house, when someone is coming to pick up an angry lion,” I purred as I stared at him. He seemed super tall now that I was a lion again. “I am tired anyway. When they're gone, tell me and I'll get some food.”

“Sure James,” he chuckled before he left the barn. I laid down peacefully and John soon came back with two men, who were carrying a large crate. “Last stall is King's,” John told and the men hurried to the stall. They put the cage down before pushing the hissing King inside.

“How much do we owe you?” one man asked gruffly as he wiped his hands on his already filthy pants.

“Two hundred,” John answered quickly as he moved towards the barn door.

“Good,” grunted the first man as he followed John.

“Sir? How much for this lion?” asked the second man as he pointed at me.

“Oh! He isn't for sale. He already has a home. Now, I'll let you take King to his home,” John replied as he pushed the men out of the barn with King. I soon heard a truck roar to life and John returned to the barn. “Man, that was a little too close,” he gasped as he wiped his brow.

“Yes, it was. Please let me out now,” I agreed as he finally unlocked the gate. I unlocked Tigger's stall and led him to the house. “Tigger, stay here,” I commanded before I went inside.
