5.The Warning

The next morning, I came down to the kitchen and found eggs and pancakes on a beautiful plate. Anna and John were sitting there, enjoying larges heaps of it and I soon joined them; but I ate more than both of them combined. As soon as we finished, John announced, “We are going over to your parent's house later.”

“Cool!” I roared and they stared at me for a second, then shrugged it off.

“James, you have to be careful about what you do in front of them,” John warned as he got to start washing the dishes.

“But they are my family!” I exclaimed angrily.

“I know James, but how do you explain being turned into a lion. They still don't believe Anna. And you...you are going to change back. This is going to be a difficult process, James,” declared John as he glanced back me.

“John is right, James. You have to be more careful than us,” Anna warned as she touched my hand.

“Then what should I do?” I hissed as I yanked my hand away.

“Be careful how you tell them, but don't tell that you are going to change back,” John answered as he rubbed his chin.

“We should get ready. We have to meet them in a hour,” Anna told before she headed upstairs. I followed her and went into the shower.
