to be honest, i've never really liked origami.

it used to be a pain because i never figured out how to do a pocket-fold for the head of a crane.

i thought he would be nice.

in reality, he's rude.

i asked for his name, so out of courtesy, shouldn't you ask for the other person's name?

really, j?

at least he noticed me.

and even though he was a little rude...i ended up liking him.

"I would have to say we're pretty awkward," Lucy murmured at the lunch table.

"At least it's okay that we're all together. We know each other because we all came from the same middle school," Brooklyn added.

"I don't like him," Mae muttered quietly. Minhee looked at her incredulously.

"Who?" Hannah asked.

"That short kid. Jasper."

"Mae, you can't call him short if you're shorter than him," Moni said with a laugh.

"Shut up!" Mae retorted, a blush rising to her cheeks.

"He's kind of cute though, isn't he?" Minhee asked, causing her to earn a slap from Mae and the rest.

"Don't do that! That's weird," Mae hissed. Minhee shrugged and continued to eat her noodles, not surprised that Mae was mad.

"Hey, Minhee, do you know Gabriella?" a voice said from behind, and everyone turned around to see him.

"Oh yeah, I do. You're the short kid she was talking about!" Minhee exclaimed, clapping her hands.

"She told me a lot about you. You're smart, aren't you?" Mae rolled her eyes. Minhee and Jasper talked to each other for about two minutes until Minhee received a notification that startled her.

"Well, I have to go eat my lunch. See you later, Minhee," he said and waved. Jasper suddenly turned around.

"Hey, Mae," he greeted and walked away.
