"Wait wait wait, Mae...is it who I think it is?!"
"Who do you think it is?" Mae asked mockingly at Minhee's revelation.
"Ohmygod you like Jasper," Minhee said confidently.
"No."
"Yes you do." Mae turned away, and Minhee cupped Mae's face, squishing her cheeks.
"Do you like him?" she whispered softly.
"Minfu lego!" Mae yelled.
"What?" Minhee asked, removing her hands.
"I asked you to let go. Anyways, I...yeah...I like him."
"Well, I'm not surprised. Besides, he's not bad for you."
"But Minhee, he totally likes you. So do you like him back?"
"Of course not, Mae. But just today, just today, I had a tiny crush on him. His outfit was on point," she replied, her eyes lighting up.
"Yeah, he looked cute," Mae said.
"But I don't think I actually like him, at least not romantically. And you can't say he likes me when he clearly hates me."
"...Minhee..."
"I had a crush on his outfit...how weird is that? So I'm telling you, he's all yours."
"Minhee, if I stopped liking him, and he liked you, would you go out with him?" Mae asked.
"Obviously not, Mae. That would hurt your feelings."
