i went to go teach children how to make origami.
i had 300 pieces of paper.
now i have approximately 116.
and that just gives me 116 paper cranes for 11 weeks of summer.
which should be enough.
because i don't see j often enough.
so i'll just imagine myself with him...
i'll just write about us.

"This is the most excited I've ever been for a movie. Except for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," Mae stated as she walked with Minhee in the mall, looking for something to buy.
"Yeah. I'm pretty excited too," Minhee said. Mae's phone vibrated, and she took her phone out of her back pocket, reading a new message from Mark.
"Mark's here. Let's go because I don't want to be late."
"Or are you just trying to rush me because you want to see Jasper?" Minhee questioned under her breath without Mae hearing her as they neared the theater.
"Hey Mark!" Mae shouted, grabbing his attention as the group of friends lounged on the chairs at the entrance.
"You took forever," Jasper grumbled in annoyance.
"Mark booked the entire back row, Mae," Brooklyn informed.
"So?"
"So he's going to confess to the girl he likes and they have two seats next to each other so during the movie they can just stop and make out," Minhee replied, earning a flick on the forehead from Mark.
"Not sure about the making out part, but he might confess," Em said, wiggling her eyebrows.
"Hey Mark," Jasper said, punching Mark on the shoulder.
"Yeah?" he asked as he collected the tickets from his mom and handed them to the person at the register.
"I'm not sure if you like Jasmyn or not, but if you do, you better not break her heart," Jasper warned.
"Jasper, I don't like her. It's someone else," Mark replied as the group went to go sit in the theater, grabbing (and paying for) three large buckets of popcorn [a/n: JIMINNIEE116 yOU THOUGHT THAT HE LIKED JASMYN???? HELL NO].
"How are we sitting?" Brooklyn asked. Without another word, Mae grabbed a seat in the middle with her bucket of popcorn. Two seconds later, Mark sat on her left and Minhee on her right.
"Emily, sit next to me," Mark said and patted the seat next to him, where Em sat. The trailers began rolling and all of them put their 3D glasses on, Minhee marveling at the sight like a 3 year old. And then the movie began.
"Mae," Minhee whispered halfway through, when Dory was with Hank the octopus.
"Yeah?" Mae asked, her eyes fixated on the screen.
"Hey Mae."
"What."
"Mae."
"Goddamnit Minhee what do you want?!" Mae hissed at the pestering Minhee.
"Don't you ship Dory and Hank?"
"Minhee, if you value your life, I suggest you shut up," Mae replied, causing Minhee to slink back into her seat, her face sullen.
"Hey Mae," a different voice whispered, causing her to turn around really quickly.
"Yeah?"
"Can I have some popcorn? Ryan and Moni have their hands in their own popcorn bucket and I don't wanna intrude," Jasper whispered, and Mae passed the bucket to him.
"So you talk to him but not to me," Minhee murmured with a pout, earning a slight hug on the shoulder from Mae as an apology. Minhee took the bucket from Jasper, his hand still in the bucket as he picked out pieces of popcorn while staring at the screen.
"I'll just keep it in the middle for the three of us," Minhee said.
"Mae, can you give me the popcorn?" Mark asked, to which Mae replied "give me a few seconds." Mae reached inside the bucket to grab a handful of popcorn for Mark when her hand met Jasper's, his trying to take the popcorn out of her hand. A dark red colored her cheeks at the sudden touch.
"S-sorry," Mae stuttered and took her hand out of the bucket, giving it to Mark.
"It's all good," Jasper replied, a smile on his face and a hint of a blush.

so i wanted to make mark confess, but i didn't know how to do it.
that might be another special chapter.
and this is how i ended it.
i myself is disappointed with the ending, but i didn't want to make it too awkward.
but i just ended it with jasper faintly blushing.
JIMINNIEE116 it's okay, whatever you say...even though you ship mark and jasmyn it's not going to happen.
#mob
keep shipping mob!
signing off,
mae who blushes a lot but no one can see it because her skin is brown (most of it was during math class when i actually interacted with him)
