Zoey's Point of View.

My heart pounded as I heard the noises coming from out of the limo, otherwise known as my safe zone for the moment. Flashes snapped from every corner; the tinted windows did so much but to cover that up.

Everyone was here.. Everyone was excited.

I on the hand, was nervous.

This is isn't me. I was that one girl who sat in the front of the class but never spoke a word. The one who always had her head stuck on a book. The one who would never have the guts to talk to a boy.. Of course, I developed myself into changing that. I broke out of my shell and used sarcasm and jokes as a defense mechanism. But as much as I want to hide it, that quiet girl still lives inside me. All the glitz and the glamour.. I'm not cut out for this. I'm a terrible public speaker, and all I can think about is what will happen when those doors open.

I could ruin their career.. I would be known as a joke, publicly humiliated in front of national TV. I wish nothing more than to stay inside, go back home and put on something I'm really comfortable in.

This is no place for a girl like me.. I made a terrible mistake.

"Alright guys, before we step out there, I just have to say a few words." Ashton continued speaking.

All our eyes set on him as we felt the driver pull up closer down the line of cars and limos waiting to drop off their guest.

Ashton was the complete opposite of me.. Just by looking at him, you can tell this is what he wanted. This is what he was born to do.. Born to feel. I acknowledge him for that. He wants something and he goes for it, all the way..

"Oh great.." Cam rolled his head back, "Here comes another famous speech made by the one and only!"

He sounded sarcastic but in a joking matter. You know boys..

Ignoring his comment, Ashton shrugged it off and continued speaking.

"I just want to start off by saying.. This is just the beginning." He smiled.

Nodding their heads, the rest of the guys nodded and even cheered to that toast.

"We've come a long way, and we deserve this." He nodded. "From the outfits." He looked at Aria, "To the music." He looked at the Jacks and I, "To the people.." He looked around all of us. "This has always been a dream of mine, like most of you others, and to say that we are here right now.. Well, it's a dream come true. I want to thank you all for coming in this journey with me and being a part of the family we created." A soft smile became prominent in his face. "So thank you, and may many more nights like these come!" He held his champaign glass in the air. Everyone else followed, including me.

It was as if his words deeply touched me this time. Ashton is known for his speeches, he's always been great with the public. And he was right in every word he spoke. This is a family, and this is their dream.. Finally, becoming a reality.

We felt the limo come to a stop. My heart, just as my body, did so too.

"LETS HAVE SOME FUN!" Ashton exclaimed in a giddy tone.

The door of the limo was held open from the other side. Ashton was the first to step out followed by Cam. Sarah came up next followed by Shawn and Aria who were holding hands.

I felt the atmosphere get wider and wider as the people started getting down, soon thinking about how it'll be my turn next.

I felt my heart begin to thump, feeling as if it was going to explode any second now. I was bomb, and an explosion of anxiety was about to rain out of me.
