Chapter 28
Bailey's POV
I fold my new shirt that I got from my mother yesterday into a square, and neatly pile it on top of my other clothes that lay in the suitcase. The mountain of clothing reaches the top in a matter of minutes. Just as I close the top and try to zipper the bag shut, my bedroom door knocks.
I turn around to find Niall leaning against the doorframe. His arms are folded and he has the most adorable grin on display.
"Hey," I smile, twisting back around to my large suitcase.
I can hear his footsteps approach me from behind. Two arms slide around me, enclosing my body.
"Packing?"
"Yeah," I sigh, giving up on the zipper that will not work.
His head lowers to rest on my left shoulder.
"I don't want to leave," he softly admits in my ear.
"Me neither," I agree.
Niall's grip on me loosens, but is replaced by his hand taking mine. I'm guided over to the side of my bed and sat down. He softly pushes me down to lay flat on the duvet. Niall's face appears right above mine.
"Then let's stay," he huskily whispers to me.
I bite my lip, staring into his sea blue eyes. Niall grasps the sides of my waist, hauling me further on the bed. He climbs on shortly after before returning to his original stance.
Our lips connect in an instant. His golden hair tickles my forehead. Both of my hands are taken in his. Niall pins them above my head, keeping them there. His tongue glides through my mouth, completely invading me.
It's when he sucks on the skin right below my right ear that I come back to reality. Although I would rather stay here and be in the arms of Niall, I know that I have to pack soon or I'll never be ready by tomorrow.
A harsh breath is sucked in when Niall draws blood to the surface of my skin. I pierce my eyes closed. The slight pain surprises me, but Niall just keeps on going. Again, he attacks my lips. My cheek is caressed with his palm. His other hand wraps around my back, keeping me pressed against him.
I tug at his bottom lip, pulling away. Niall stays hovered over me.
"I have to pack," I remind him.
His mouth curves down in a frown. I'm granted one more final peck before he slides off of my body. I sit up, watching as he walks over to my troubled suitcase. Niall tugs at the metal piece, forcing it to run its path.
"What are you doing?" I ask, amused by the look on his face.
"Helping you finish packing so we can get back to where we were."
I gulp at his response to the question and my cheeks flush. Niall looks up to me and winks.
I laugh, "Not when my family is down the hall."
"Well then pack quicker because I'm taking you back to campus tonight."
I shake my head, smiling over at him. A hard look of concentration is featured on his face. Niall gives it many tugs, but the zipper will not budge.
"Why won't this fucking thing close," he mumbles under his breath.
I stand up from the bed to go and assist him. Just as I do so, the zipper shreds across the line, shutting the black bag.
"Finally," he breaths out.
Niall's eyes dart to mine and I'm backed up on to the bed. He licks his full lips, peering down at me under his touch.
