"I keep doing what he says. He isn't happy," You read out loud the papers with Reid as you took a bite of the chocolate bar Hotch found under the bed.
"YN! That's part of the crime scene!" Reid grabbed the chocolate bar out of your mouth making you upset.
"It could have been part of my digestive system," You mumbled as you collected the last couple of pages from the bed frame.
"Here," Reid snatched the papers from you and seemed to have put them in an order that made sense to him.
"Soo?" You asked him, wondering what the genius figured out about the pages.
"Fifteen pages, fifteen days. Two weeks and a day. Today is Tuesday so he started to write these two weeks ago Monday," Reid stated.
"Or he could have spaced them out. He could have had these for months," You tell him, as he skimmed the papers again.
"No, you can tell by how much force he used on the crayon. But we know a male was involved in this crime scene," Reid told you as you saw Hotch enter the room.
"Anything Reid?" You noticed how Hotch didn't make eye contact with you at all.
"Adam referred to someone as a 'he' in all of these. Adam didn't want to upset whoever this man was. I need to speak to Garcia," Reid told Hotch as he excused himself from the room.
"Good find with the pillow," Hotch told you as you stood back up.
"Just luck," you say back to him as you started to play with the action figures.
"Adam's grandpa used to be in army," Hotch told you as you rearranged the little figures.
"That would explain the action figures. I used to have set like this when I was little. Before dad passed. The general would always be over looking his soldiers-" You stopped in your tracks as you carefully examined the figures more.
"Are you ok, YN?" Hotch asked as he walked closer to you.
"All of these figures all in the wrong order. In the report, Adam claimed to have been OCD, right? The figures came with a map, that showed you where to place them. The highest to lowest rank, just like the real life army," You tell Hotch as you walked over to Adam's bookshelf. You moved some books around, until you found the map that came with the figures.
"Someone had moved these, Hotch. Look, the Leutinent, the weapons, all of it," You say as you began to overlook the table.
You notice Hotch looking around the room and he walked over to the window, where a picture frame held a picture of Adam and his Grandpa, the figures in the background. Hotch looked at the picture and then back at the figures.
"The enemy is overlooking the soldiers. That's not how it was in this picture. The enemy was hiding away, out of sight from the soldiers," Hotch said as he set the frame down.
You picked up a figure and closely examined it.
"It's been cleaned recently. Bleach," you took a quick sniff.
"We need a team up here," Hotch yelled slightly to downstairs.
"Would it be alright if we check out the school and the soccer field? Adam may have some schoolwork that may show resemblence to the papers you found under the mattress. We might find something there," You tell him. Hotch nodded in approval.
"Take Rossi and Morgan with you. I'll have JJ and Reid help out here," Hotch told you as you were about to head back downstairs.
"And don't get pulled over by a county cop!" You turned around and saw Hotch actually smiling.
