"I'm really sorry about this, you guys-" You told them, but Reid interrupted you.
"Hey Hotch, one of your collars, is untuck, the left one. There you go," You couldn't ignore Reid's angry smirk plastered on his face.
The team waited in silence until Hotch spoke.
"Thanks, Reid," Hotch awkwardly cleared his throat. "We could all probably come back in the morning to get a fresh start on things-"
"Peace out!" Morgan was already up out of his chair but Reid chipped in.
"We could be locating glass stars, right now as odd as it sounds. Ok, so almost everyone was out of the building by ten-thirty tonight, besides Rossi and I. Rossi didn't step out of the doors until twelve forty-three am. That gave whoever put the glass star outside roughly two and a half hours," Reid said as he looked at you.
"So you're saying we roughly have an hour and a half before the next glass star is placed at its location," you reply to Reid, the team not quite following.
"YN, you're the only one who knows the meaning behind these glass stars. Anything that you know could help us find the person who drops off these stars," Reid said. You knew he knew the reason behind the glass star. He sat back in his chair, arms slightly folded.
"What exactly is the meaning behind the stars, YN?" Hotch asked as he gently placed a hand on your shoulder. The team, giving one another side glances.
"Nazar was obsessed with space. Anything that dealed with nighttime. Stars, constellations, you name it. Before Julia was born," You took a deep breath as you exhaled a shaky one, " Nazar was abusive. No one expected it, I mean, two police partners sharing innocent flirts during rounds? Everyone on the department knew we had something going on. One night, Nazar came home, more upset then usual. I was asleep but I heard him come into the bedroom," You could feel the eyes of everyone looking at you.
"That's when he jumped onto me. He had a knife in his hand and-" You stopped, you were at a fumble for words.
"It'd be better if I just show you," You lifted up your shirt a little ways, revealing a scar, the shape of a star on near your belly button.
Garcia gave you a concerned look as Hotch folded his arms.
"Nazar never told me the meaning behind this scar, but he would always say that a star has five points. I still don't know what those five points are," You say, a little relieved.
"The Beaurau could be one of these five points," Rossi commented.
"Was there anything that made Nazar not like the Beaurau? Something that would stick out to you?" Hotch asked.
"Oh my god," you say quietly, as the team leaned in a little closer, to hear what you were going to say.
