Chapter Twenty Nine

"Garcia's uploading all of YN's cases to us," Morgan told Hotch, while still on the phone with Garcia.
"Maybe we could find a connection to her and Niles," Rossi suggested as he started going through the uploading files.
"We'll probably dealing with a team here. First Michael and now Niles. Let's look with all the arrests YN's had made," Reid commented as everyone settled down in an office back at the police department.
"Dang, Hotch she's almost made as many arrests as you have. She's just one behind you," Morgan chuckled as he went through the files on his tablet.
"Why do you think I had hired her? She knows what she's doing out on the field," Hotch replied as he pulled up a case file.
Reid was about to comment but Hotch interuppted him with a question.
"Did you see the Texas case? Suspect Nazar Guiamen, was YN's police partner before she arrested him," Hotch said, looking up at the team.
"There was something in the media report about him escaping prison a couple days ago. He's from Ukraine, right?" J.J asked as everyone pulled up the file on their tablets.
"Get Garcia on this Nazar," Hotch ordered as he walked out of the office.

"How did you find her, Nazar?" You asked. You felt like you were in an interrogating room, but without the team by your side.
"One of the social workers," Nazar smirked as he took a shot of alcohol.
You shook your head in disgust. "She seems very intelligent. No wonder why she goes to that private school. I'm surprised how close she lives to you, you don't see her," You hated how Nazar's voice sounded, like a know it all.
"Like you have?" You snorted back.
Nazar had a twinkle in his eyes that you wanted to burn out instantly.
"Did you know her favorite animal is a koala? Her foster mother gave her a collection of stuffed koalas that she has piled on her bed. Its cute, actually. And she just loves the zoo so much-"
"I can't believe this. They told me she would be safe and they let you see her? How long have you known about her?" You asked, doing your best to stay calm.
"After the first week of being in prison. My attorney found her," Nazar said, finishing his shot. You could find no words to say to him. You were utterly dumbfounded.
"Did I actually outsmart my favorite FBI agent? " Nazar smiled as he handed you a shot glass.
"The joke's on you my friend, " You tell him as you took a shot of tequila.
It felt as though Nazar was staring into your soul, something you wish you didn't have.
