"Everyone please back up! This is sectioned off for the police! I understand you all have tickets and places to be, but the train is temporarily shut down. Please go to the west entrance and wait for further instructions!" You yelled at a bunch of impatient people. You caught up to Hotch as almost everyone exited the train station.
"You should be one of those cops that direct the city traffic," Hotch slightly joked with you.
"And pass this wonderful opportunity to help a handful of kids? Never," You joked back.
"Feds?" Two San Jose police officers asked as you and Hotch walked over to them.
"Yes. We were helping with the hostage team," Hotch said as the two of you show them your badges.
"They're right over there," One of the police officers mentioned.
"Thanks," Hotch said as the two of you caught up with the other agents.
"Fernando Cruise, hostage leader. You must be the Feds from Quantico," Fernando held out his hand for the both of you to shake.
"I'm SSA Aaron Hotchner and this is SSA YN LN. We're the BAU," Aaron introduced.
"So who's the one that is keeping the kids hostage?" You asked.
"His name is Phillip Neal. He works at the local museum. He's managed to round up at least thirty kids," Fernando explained.
"Children would be the easy target. That would make sense. He's probably telling them a lie that convinces them to go with him and next thing they know, they are stuck on a train with a man that could kill them any second," You say as you shake your head in disbelief.
"Sad to say, but yes. We've only contacted him once and that was through his cell phone. He is armed and has a history of mental health," Fernando said as you did your best to follow along with his accent.
"Mental health? Tell me he isn't a museum employee is he?" Aaron asked as the three of you move closer to the train.
"He's a tour guide, for children," Fernando confirmed.
"How long have these children been held hostage?" You asked with a concerned look at your face.
"Almost twenty four hours," Fernando replied.
"What's the plan here?" Aaron asked Fernando as you tried to peer through the train windows. You saw a small group of kids, cuddled in a group, shivering.
"We have had an agent go inside but it wasn't successful. He was sent to the hospital with a bullet to his leg," Fernando told Aaron.
"We need- YN, what do you think you're doing?" You could hear Hotch yell at you as you pried the train doors opened and closed them behind you.

"What do you mean she's on the train? Is she even wired, Hotch?" Rossi asked as he picked up his cell phone.
"No, she just went on without saying anything. It's been fifteen minutes," Hotch said as he kept checking his watch.
"Is there anyway to contact her without scaring the guy?" Rossi asked Hotch.
"She has her cell phone but it wouldn't be the best idea to contact her. JJ, have you taken care of the press?" Hotch asked.
"She's still working on it, Boss," Rossi told him.
"Hey, I'll call you later. I see Morgan and Reid coming," Hotch said as he ended the call.
"You let her go on the train?" Morgan asked from a distance.
"No, she completely got on by herself. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get out of this situation?" Hotch asked as Reid scratched his head, searching for anything that would help.
