"If you would just sign the transfer forms, you should be ready to go, Agent," the discharging nurse said as she handed you the forms.
"I'm not an agent, just look at me! I- Sorry, here you go," You shove the papers back to the nurse as you scribbled your signature.
"YN?" Spencer popped his head in the doorway.
"Do you have an update?" You persisted as he walked in the room.
"No, I just wanted to make sure that you're alright. You know, like with the transfer and-"
"He's just going to find me. He found me at this hospital and he won't stay out of my life because of Julia. Why me, Reid?" You ranted to him as he came and sat down on your bed.
"Some people are just cursed with bad luck, but the bad luck doesn't stop them. They keep pushing through, because they are strong. You are strong," Spencer told you, making you smile for once.
"Thanks," you say softly as Strauss came into the room.
"I don't mean to interrupt anything Agents, but you'll be out of this hospital in a half hour. Is there anything I can get you, YN?" Strauss asked with concern on her face.
"I think I'll be alright for now, but thanks," You replied as she exited the room.
"I'm going to go see if Hotch has a new update," Spencer said as he started to get up.
"Spence-" You started to say, but then thought about what you were going to say next.
"Yea?" His shaggy hair carefully swept against his forehead, making you smile.
"Will you ride with me in the ambulance to the other hospital?" You felt childish but you needed someone with you right now. Someone that could protect you.
"Of course," Spencer said, he couldn't hide his astonished expression.
Spencer looked at you before he left the room to go check up on the update about your case.
"He likes you, you know," You grinned as Julia came in the room, with one of the hospital's featured teddy bears.
"Is it that obvious?" You laughed as Julia looked back at Spencer, who was making a phone call by the nurse's desk.
"No, but the way he talks to you does," Julia stated as she climbed back up on your bed.
"My- Aren't you smart?"
That was the last thing you remember saying before the sound of a time clock went off and that was before you saw the nurse's desk blew up in flames.
